Horrible!!!!
I thought i would give this game a try. I love racing games, however this one comes up short big time. Graphics are bad, looks like your playing on a ps2. It plays as if you cant control the cars at all. I had it for a short time then got rid of it. I really tried to get into it but just didnt click for me. 1/5 stars

great game, no steering wheel support kills it
I am a long-time dirt racing fan and have played all of the better games out there for the Xbox 360. (Dirt 2 still rules...) so I couldn't wait for the Outlaws game from THQ to arrive. When it did I stuck it in the Xbox only to find out it does not support steering wheels! I tried using my Microsoft Xbox wireless wheel and it does work most of the functions but there is no way to calibrate it so it is all over the place. This is just stupid in the age of game consoles and realism. This game should have a big sticker on it that says it is not in the modern world.
The good news is that I only tossed $20 away on this piece of junk. If they get steering wheel support, this could be a great game, until then the Dirt 2 game stays in the Xbox and THQ's World of Outlaws game moves another step closer to the trash bin.

Killer game but what's up with the lack of steering wheel support????
If you loved the previous sprint car games, you'll love this. I couldn't wait to plug in my simulator. I raced my a$$ off and couldn't get anything better than 5th on the wheel. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. THEY NEED TO GET THE WHEEL WORKING ON THIS. For any racing game not to support steering wheels is a complete flop. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed their developers are reading these reviews and are working on a patch that gets it to work. Other than that I like everything.

Great game for sprint car fans!
This is a fun game and my review falls in line with other reviews from people who like the game. Hopefully this game will get enough support to make a follow up. I would not mind seeing the game get turned over to Rainbow Studios the people who make MX vs ATV, after playing a demo of MX vs ATV Reflex it would bee nice to see this type of graphics in this game. Also i would like to see World Racing Group bring the late models and modified's to the game, and more tracks and some dlc. Well that's my take.

Good Fix for Dirt Track Game Fans
If you are a fan of Sprint car racing, you need to get this game. Its well worth the $20. If you dive into the game not expecting a Forza Motorsports 3 presentation and gameplay, you will be just fine. That being said, the game will provide lots of fun for racing fans who like to get sideways. The graphics are similar to the 2002 Ratbag Playstation 2 version. When i am going into a turn three abreast, I am not paying much attention to how nice the rims look on the car next to me. The controls and physics seem accurate, but don't purchase a steering wheel. The wheel is very slow to respond and is pratically useless(Xbox steering wheel works great with Forza but not with this game). In career mode the difficulty is not too challenging, but will provide practice for XBox live which is much tougher. The career mode features Accuracy, Time and Speed challenges along with the standard track events. As far as the challenges, the Time ones are the most difficult. Career mode also provides a garage to upgrade your car very similar to the 2002 version. This game also includes an arcade mode which is more challenging than career mode. There is no difficulty setting in career mode. There are also about 47 accomplishments to achieve. What sets this game apart from the 2002 Sprint car racing is the online feature. I am a big fan of the World of Outlaws and to me this is the best dirt track game out there.
