Line Rider 2: Unbound Review
User Submitted Line Rider 2: Unbound Reviews Date: 2008-10-21 Problematic installation My son is totally nuts about line rider and has been waiting eagerly to get his hands on the PC game. It was a major disappointment when we found out that you needed internet access to install the software, which given that we had just moved to Tanzania was not available at home. Hence, I installed it at work. The software took a long time to install and note that the offline version does not have that many options as the online version.
In addition, when my son came to the office to also play with the online options the software crashed. He could not get the program to work anymore and we did what, I guess, every person will do, we uninstalled and then re-installed the software. Here comes the major disappointment, we typed in the special green code that is to unlock the program and it stated that this code was already in use and hence the program would now not work at all anymore. Not very professional and we hope that the upcoming Wii version will not have these annoying shortcomings.
Date: 2008-09-27 Innovative, and brings back fun gaming again Its nice to see a title bring back the basics to gaming, which is fun and challenging. In an age where graphics, blood, and killing are the norm, its nice to see a company strive to do something different. This title goes back to the old school of PC gaming. Not the typical cookie cutter PC game, and you cant beat the value.
Date: 2008-09-23 My son LOVES this game! My 10 yr old son was a die hard linerider.com fanatic and when he found out there was a new one that you can add sound, backgrounds, color, he was excited. He spends hours building new "lines" and loves it. I have gotten so many "thank yous" you couldn't imagine. He absolutely loves it.
