Date: 2008-12-28 Great game, but difficult at times Now yes this game is hard, but don't let that deter you. I had to fight Octomammoth 8 times to beat him but once i filnally beat him it felt awesome. The Active Battle System is cool too, but sometimes i feel rushed to pick a move or else the guy will attack me again.
The only cons i can think of is that there is not as much use of the touch screen. I barely ever use my stylus.
Date: 2008-12-21 Personal liking I'm not one for long reviews. At all. This is personal opinion: I loved it.
Make your own choice.
Date: 2008-11-14 rpg this is a classic rpg and my first rpg experience in 1992. I did not sleep for weeks playing this long journey game. and now I'm playinging on a 3-D on my ds .bring memories and I glad squre did this game I just wish they do final fantasy 3 in 3-D also my favorities games. now my complain is for the idiot who paste those wrom pictures of final fantasy 9 for this amazing game at the display.
Date: 2008-11-11 Worthy update I never played the original, and I've only played all the Kingdom Hearts, FFX, X-2, XII and the updated FFIII DS. In short, this feels like a continuation and perfection of III. Voice acting was a nice touch, graphics feel classier and the plot holds up. Make no mistake, you will need a strategy guide with a few bosses, but overall, its workable. I'm glad I purchased this game, it makes me unexpectedly happy.
Date: 2008-11-04 Nice Graphics, Lousy Play This is nothing more than an enhancement of a redo from a couple of years ago. I thought that there was new elements, but they are so few and far in between that there really is none. If you already have the previous version, save your money and buy a different game. If you do not have it, then buy the earlier version, because there are too few save points in this game and if you are killed, you have to start from the start.
