Zone Alarm Pro Mistake
I am so mad and disappointed for purchasing Zone Alarm Pro I want my money back. Is there any chance of that? If so please let me know. Almost immediately after installing Zone Alarm Pro yesterday evening I uninstalled it. Zone Alarm Pro was not even allowing me to connect to the Internet. I had to turn off the program too get back on. I tried to find a phone number to call for assistance but could not find one. The box says there is online customer support. That is really good when I couldn't even log on with it running. Now the software has left my Internet connection running noticeably slower and more popups than before. The popups are full screen size, blank windows. The advertisements don't come through, just the popup widow.
I know I need the protection but now don't know where to go. Does anyone have any suggestions? Did I maybe do something wrong when installing. I researched and thought I was getting a good program, not the way it has worked on my computer.

I started out using the free Zonealarm firewall several years ago and moved to the Zonealarm Pro in 2007. It used a lot of resources and slowed things but I thought it was probably no worse than other products on the market. When the 2008 product uploaded many things started going wrong. The antivirus and spyware wouldn't update and when they ran so many resources were being used nothing else could be done on the computer. Also, the email scan for viruses ran extremely slowly. (I have 1.5G RAM in case anyone is wondering.)
I went to the Zonealarm site for support. NOthing was listed for the error messages I was receiving so I looked on the user forum. This was *incredibly* enlightening. Many others were having the same problems and six things were being offered that you could do to fix the issue. Some of these things were not simple and the average PC user would probably be too intimidated to do them.
I spent 4 hours one evening doing each of these things but the problem wasn't solved. This is when I discovered there is NO free telephone tech support for this product. It costs $2.95 per minute.
I did some research reading PC Magazine and CNet reviews and purchased Trend Micro Internet Security Pro. It is fast and easy to use and I am amazed at how much faster my computer is now. Plus, the tech support is FREE. Performance does not have to be sacrificed for protection.

the product does it's job....
the shipping was a nightmare...i couldn't track my package and I had no idea when it was coming...it wasa really late and i really hate that...
