Team Fortress 2, style, fun, and cell shaded sheer joy
I have been playing since in the Orange Box which is a wonderful bargain. Team Fortress 2 I have now played over 50 hours. I keep coming back to the multiplayer experience with friends and new maps. It keeps growing on me. I like engineer, medic, and pyro the best and enjoy being in support roles that help the team. I like games that do better when you put the team ahead of your own achievements which then tend to take care of themself.

Possibly best multiplayer pc shooter
Do not listen to those people who give this a 1 star rating or anything below 5 stars. This game is really the best multiplayer game ever, It requires teamwork, true strategy and skill. Definatly RECCOMEND!

Disappointment
I'm a long-time Team Fortress player. I find this version to be a boring disappointment and an insult to the Team Fortress legacy. This could only possibly be fun, for an hour at most, for casual gamers as an introduction to the first person shooter.

Fun fun FUN!
Don't listen to negative reviews. I've been playing games for over a decade (including online), and this is the most fun I've had in a long time. I've also played on many servers, and I'm yet to find those "abusive players", "glitchy content" or "poor support from Valve" that was mentioned by one reviewer. Don't know what they're talking about. This game is clean, smooth, fun, hacker-free (hackers get banned permanently), well-balanced, funny, easy on the eye, and players are for the most part friendly and cool. If you like online shooters, this is a must-get!

A good game with questionable support.
Okay, this is a good game. Fun and invintive class play, challenging maps, and a great community of players. The problem lies with Steam. While they have listened to the desires of players to add content, the way in which they have added this content is flawed. Patches which focus on only one class at a time, thus giving these classes more of an advantage. This has sadly thrown the game out of balance. This can be frustrating at times and will only become more so as Steam releases more updates.
Please don't think I'm one of those people expressing a personal grip against the company. I would highly recomend TF2 to anyone interested in a MMOFPS. I just want people to come to the game with an understanding of some of the draw backs. Eventually, Steam will smooth out the rough edges caused by these updates, and the game will be even more amazing than it currently is. Personally, I intend to be patient, and wait for that day to come.
