One of the best RPG/FPS ever
Bethesda outdid themselves with Oblivion and Fallout 3. Oblivion Game of the Year has hundreds of hours of game play. You can play first person or third, I prefer first. Fast load times and able to save at any time is a big plus too. This is well worth the $30 and will give you many hours of exploring. Talking to people will open up many side quests. Be careful of the vampires though. I prefer a weaker, magic user, light armour, stealthy character (Brenton Assassin) but you can be a hack and slash character (or in between) if you want when you create your character in the beginning.
This is a must have and I already had it on my PC and bought it for the PS3 too because it is so good, same goes for Fallout 3.

Toneless of Voice
I loved this game and would give it a five except for the use of the same four voices in the mouths of hundreds of characters. You would have thought they could have used their own office staff in some of the characters to give some variation to the drama and even though the voices were good they got old quickly. It seemed like the production process was highjacked by and subsequently screwed over by the talent. Too I like Sean Bean but there was hardly enough good dialogue for Martin to warrent what must have been a riduculous cost. I like voice talent generally in well produced games but it was completely queered in this effort.

Oblivion review
Good RPG, but the story is not that great like it is on Knights of Old Republic or even Diablo. The quantity of side quests is high enough to entertain you during a long time, though. It is a game which joy lasts long. Worth while.

This game...is like heroin.
I was a long-time fan of Morrowind - and was completely unwilling at first to buy this continuation of the Elder Scrolls series - but my boyfriend made me - and I couldn't be more happy!

First off, I just want to say - it's BEAUTIFUL!

Secondly, I'm not one for 'following the rules.' I enjoy games where I can do whatever I want [within reason of course] and this game satisfies that need. I don't even have to do anything in particular REALLY. You can just run around and kill people because you like their outfit - granted you have to take care of the consequences of doing so, but it's fun just the same.

Lastly, the ACTUAL game - where as if I were to actually play it as intended - has a really great story line and fits together nicely. It's very enjoyable and recommended once you get the initial 'messing around' out of your system.

I realize this isn't the BEST review, but I just wanted to say how AMAZINGLY AWESOME AND SUPER TONS OF FUN this game is.
