Great Product
This was reccomended by a friend who uses it ... worked perfect much better than my old Norton in fact it found issues the other missed.

Long Time User
I have used Bit Defender for several years on many different machines.
It is the best product in its class, or was, until BD 2008.
This is very buggy software now, with modules ceasing to work and requiring reboot, until finally the software completely quits and you need a special uninstall tool from Bit Defender to get rid of it.
Their registration website has been down for quite a while, so maybe they are going out of business??
Or maybe they will fire the product manager for this version and get back to their roots.

Best Security Ive had
WORKS GREAT WITH FIREFOX BROWSER!! TRY FIREFOX www.mozillia.com instead of windows IE, which takes up too much memory!! Firefox is safer than Explorer. Firefox has many add ons and WORKS EXCELLENT WITH BITDEFENDER!!
Norton, Kaspersky, Panda wont work with FIREFOX. Bitdefender, avg, and some other work For FIREFOX. Be careful with pc tools brand security, dont get me wrong they are very good and get the job done. But they automatically charge your account at renewal time without any prior notification, they send you an email to the account you used when U installed PC Tools. They did this to me, I deleted all of my funds from this one account keeping it as aback up if needed then PC Tools charged my account and Overdrafted my account.
Bitdefender is the best internet security with antivirus Ive ever had. The only thing I dont like is if you dont have a storage device big enough you cant back up the system, And if you do use the back up today and check it tomarrow it tells you it has been past 30 days since last backup. But I jst leave mine disabled anyway. It does has atleast two scan modes normal and a deep scan mode, which is good for those hidden viruses.
BUY IT NOW!!! By it from amazon.com,Bitdefender cost about 50% more at bitdfender.com site.

Forget It
This is the worst product ever. It was horrid trying to get on the internet. Bitdefender made my computer slow and it drove me crazy. It says it is made for windows Xp forget it. This is the worst product ever. I don't leave very many reviews but believe me when I say don't bother with this product.

Really bad program and absolutely no customer support
I have used this program for just over a month now. At first all was well then the program started to turn off firewall protection, then would not do an auto download, then started getting runt time errors when it would conduct system scan, then PC would lock up. Notified BitDefender customer support by email and received absolutely zero response. Finally I removed and reloaded the program, all was well again, then............
This is an awful program full of bugs and errors anyone using it will be at risk of having your firewall turn off and who knows what else that you will be fully exposed to. Using the FIX PROBLEM button does little if anything. This was a total waste of my money and now I'm looking elsewhere for another "highly rated" product which I hope will work better than this does.
