XBOX360 THE BEST!
I had them all I still have my original ps1 I still have the nintendo 64 the ps2, the 1st xbox ,the Dreamcast I Xbox 360 Console Includes 20GB Hard Driveeven still have the sega Genesis. I am a life time gamer my first console was the atari!! And theres nothing in this world better thn my Xbox360 this is the best console ever! The only problem is that it may give you the red ring of death but Xbox has extended the warranty on the machine so I am good. The 360 got the Ps3 for over 150 extra tittles that Ps3 doesn't have the only advantage in the Ps3 is the blue ray tech. I am buying a Ps3 only for that Blue ray fact. any blue ray Dvd player is over $300 when I can get the Ps3 for $450. Not bad.

Great System!
This system, hands down, is the best purchase for your money. The online service for $50 a year is a unbelievable deal. You can play with your friends 24/7 online with quality graphics. I have the other gaming systems, but they do not compare to the Xbox360. I would like to say that Microsoft is doing a fantastic job and to keep up the outstanding work.

Awsome system!!!
Great system. Play it non-stop. I have a nyko inter cooler to prevent over-heating. it helps a ton. graphics are awesome. Xbox live you have to pay for but it is worth it.

Good system, but I probably should've gotten a PS3
I'd like to start by stating that I'm not a "fan boy" of either Sony or Microsoft. I don't own stock in either company and therefore don't feel any special attachment or animosity toward either. In fact, I don't even understand why most people feel that liking one means having to hate the other. I've played both systems and enjoy both systems but, if you can only afford one, I'd have to say it's probably better to get a PS3.

I gave the XBox 360 high marks because it's a great system and I thoroughly enjoy it. However, after tallying up the costs of everything, PS3 has a higher up-front cost but is an overall better value.

I bought the system for $299 thinking I got a great deal. Well, I quickly found out that it doesn't support wireless internet connection right out of the box. I had to buy a $100 adapter, which basically made it cost the same as a PS3. So now I've spent the same amount of money but don't have a Bluray player or a 40 GB hard drive. I wouldn't buy a game system specifically for a Bluray player, but if I'm shelling out $400 anyway I should have gotten the system with the extra features.

I'll agree that XBox Live is a pretty well thought-out idea and is much more engaging than PS3's online stuff, but PS3 gives it to you for free and once you are playing the game itself it is basically the same.

Most of the good games are available on both systems. Each has a few exclusive titles but I haven't found either to be so amazing that it would truly warrant buying one over the other (although that could be argued depending on personal preference).

I know some people gripe about how loud the drive is. Honestly, it is pretty noisy but unless you're playing the games on mute I don't see how it's ever a nuisance. Even on generally low volume settings my TV drowns out any noise produced by the drive.

Again, the XBox 360 is a great system. I can't really give it a bad review because it's not a bad piece of hardware. It's just that at the end of the day, the PS3 is a better value. Although I must admit that the XBox controller is 100 times better (personal preference, I just prefer the way it feels in my hands).

If you've been thinking of getting an XBox for whatever reason then I'd still recommend it because it's great. I can't knock the XBox in any aspect other than it feels like Microsoft is trying to nickle and dime you with everything. If you're stuck trying to choose between XBox 360 and PS3, and only intend to buy one or the other, than the PS3 is probably the better bet. You get a lot more bang for your buck.
