X-box 360 still has issues
This is the 3rd X-box 360 that has failed on me. I just do not understand why my original X-box bought in 2003 still works fine and the new ones keep dying. This time it was not the rings of death but red and green intermittent flashes on the tv. I am now ready to move on to the PS3.

IT'S GOOD
THE XBOX 360 20GB IS GOOD PRODUCT BECAUSE IT ALLOWS U TO PLAY GAMES UP TO 1080P (FULL HD)LIKE THE PS3. ITS WORTH PAYING 50 A YEAR 4 XBOX LIVE BECAUSE IT DONT LAG AS LONG UR CONNECT IS OK. THIS PRODUCT ENABLES U 2 USE A HDMI CABLE MAKING IT EASIER THEN HAVING ALLL OF THOSE OTHER COLORED CABLES. I RECOMMEND GETTING A INTERCOOLER BECAUSE IF PLAY THIS FOR 2 LONG IT GETS VERY HOT AND THE CHANCES OF GETTING THE RED RINGS GO UP.

Inferior quality.
I bought the xbox 360 I guess during 2005, lasted about 2 years maybe a little more, before the famous four rings of death ocurred to me, the console got busted, sent it for repair, for free, and got a replacement console, not my original one.
It has been a little over a year after getting the replacement unit, now it is busted again, different problem, now it will cost me about 100 dlls to fix it. After looking for the symptoms in the xbox forum, it seems to be, again, a wide spread common problem, a lot of people have the same problem.
The conclusion is that the average life of the console, before going dead is about one and a half years, then you'll have to send it for a fix. Very poor quality for a [...] dlls machine, buy a playstation 3 if you are starting your game collection, I am kind of stuck with xbox, I have over 30 games for it.

New chipset [Falcon], Quitest DVD drive [BenQ], No RRoD
Great product. I was wary of the contents of the package in terms of chipset and DVD drive, but after ordering about a month ago, I've discovered that this 360 totes the Falcon chipset and a BenQ [quiet] DVD drive. You can't really go wrong with this package. Buy it. Everything worked out of the box for me and I have yet to have any problems with it.

Im very pleased with this purchase. I bought the console, extra controller and a game; amazon shipped it to me incredibly fast. I ordered 3day shipping and they upgraded my shipping for free and it got here a day early. Everything was as described, brand new and factory sealed.
