Date: 2008-07-06 Norton AntiVirus 2008 This product was perfect. It was exactly what I was going to by in the mall for much less. I recommend amazon to everyone! It has become one of my favorite places to shop.
Date: 2008-07-03 Norton is the BEST! I have used other anti-virus in the past and they all gave me trouble/headaches. Once, I started using Norton all my issues went away. In addition, the ease of using their software couldn't be better. I wouldn't trade it for anything when it comes to protecting my computer.
If anyone isn't very computer savvy they make it easy for you.

Date: 2008-07-02 NAV 2008 3-user lic. product review I bought a 3-user license for three computers running Windows XP (2 Home Edition and 1 Media Center Edition). The MDC PC had problems with installation, so I contacted tech support.
Their Tech Support labor is cheap, but not very effective, we are still trying to resolve the issue. I have purchased Norton Antivirus for my own personal computer since Windows 95 (in 1996). Every version gets worse and conflicts more with Windows and third party applications. It is nice to have brand loyalty, but I can not continue supporting this brand.
Date: 2008-06-30 Yup, it slows down my system at restart I just installed this product because my other antivirus (Computer Associates) had expired. I restarted my computer to activate the Norton software for the first time. The restart was S.....L.....O.....W. It wouldn't even load my startup items like gmail notifier. After a few minutes I gave up. To test if it was Norton, I turned off the virus protection, restarted the computer and bingo, everything loaded up as quickly as normal. So, beware of this software. It may not slow down everyone's system, but it definitely slowed mine to a grinding halt. Lucky me.
Date: 2008-06-27 Best known but not best for use I bought this based on the widespread brand awareness and assumption that the well-known brand meant it was a good product. The user menus lack intuitiveness and it's hard to guess how to change settings, etc. Additionally, it slowed down my PC significantly.
