Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa Collectors Edition Review
User Submitted Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa Collectors Edition Reviews
Date: 2008-11-22 Do NOT buy - Being cancelled 28 Feb. 2009! From the official website:
To the Tabula Rasa Community,
Last November we launched what we hoped would be a ground breaking sci-fi MMO. In many ways, we think we've achieved that goal. Tabula Rasa has some unique features that make it fun and very different from every other MMO out there. Unfortunately, the fact is that the game hasn't performed as expected. The development team has worked hard to improve the game since launch, but the game never achieved the player population we hoped for.
So it is with regret that we must announce that Tabula Rasa will end live service on February 28, 2009.
Before we end the service, we'll make Tabula Rasa servers free to play starting on January 10, 2009.
We can assure you that through the next couple of months we'll be doing some really fun things in Tabula Rasa, and we plan to make staying on a little longer worth your while. For more details about what we are doing for Tabula Rasa players, please click here.
Stay tuned for more information. We thank you for your loyal support of the game and encourage you to take us up on the benefits we're offering Tabula Rasa players.
The Tabula Rasa Team
Date: 2008-10-05 Need's more players. It's a pritty good game but no one plays it wich defeats the purpose of being a MMORPG. The game is kinda fun but when you're on you're own all the time it gets old FAST!
Date: 2008-09-18 my life in Tabula Rasa.... I don't have time to write a long review.. I'm too busy playing Tabula Rasa!! :)
Date: 2008-09-06 It is time consuming as to real time attacks It has real time attacks on secure locations (bases) and helping to retake the locations from the Bane(Enemy) has a good action sequence I enjoy, it has roaming sentries/patrols and redeployment of the sentries/patrols(drop ships come and deploy (Beam) the troops down) after a few moments if you stay too long in the same spot, but if on one of the many quests you do move to other sites fairly quickly with other sentries/patrols along the way. a very good RPG with lots of quests.
Date: 2008-08-23 fun game solid play This game has really matured. I have been playing it for nine months now and am still having fun. Whether you like to run and gun or hang out and socialize. With the recent update the PvP is really heating up. Sometimes I will do missions and other times I will do control points. CPs are really fun as waves of Bane keep coming and you are fighting for your life. Now with the PvP and fight nights in the Cellar, game play is limitless. Now grab a rifle and lets go!
