Could be better, but better than Quicken 2009
I have been a long time Quicken user. Quicken 98 and many uneventful upgrades. But with this last upgrade to Quicken 2009, I'm throwing in the towel.I bought Microsoft money plus H and B because I was desperately looking for something better.I have all of 2007 and 2008 transactions on both programs. Almost 2000 transactions on each program. Hands down I think MicoMoney is a better program. Categories are much easier to keep clean and work with. The program has not gotten full of its self and is still real clean and simple. There are a lot of little things that i will miss with Quicken but not enough to go back. The reports have a very professional look. Mark

Unfinished business
If it had given me the option I would have given the product a grade
of "incomplete" rather than the one star.
Upon attempting installation I was hit with the dreaded "Setup was unable to install some of the components....try installing Money again". This last bit, about trying again, is evidently a bit of whimsy on the part of Microsoft's tech writers as, if the first try won't go through, neither will the hundredth.
The initial fixes found on the chat sites have not worked, yet I haven't given up; it may well work some day. Just not yet.

I've been hosed
I received a used copy of this software thinking I was paying for a new one. The box was beat up and it had the transparent stickers on the box like the one's Gamestop puts on their used games for purchase. The disk was a little scratched up but other than that the sofware works fine. I hope in the future this does not happen, I should be told I'm paying for a used product.

Bought it to continue service
This version isn't much different from earlier releases. I bought it simply to maintain the services which are very good and worth the money.

Don't buy unless you don't care about accuracy
This is a terrible product, mostly becsuse it uses Yodlee software to get its information. I used to use Yodlee (the online version) to keep track of my accounts until I found out that it misses credit card transactions on the day that the account closes. This adds up to a lot of transactions and money spent that is not tracked by the system. I complained twice to Yodlee to no avail. Now I am looking for other account tracking software, only to find the Microsoft Money uses the same crappy Yodlee system. Good thing I am still on the trial version. I wish I could tell Microsoft how lousy their software is, but I didn't want to wade through all their corporate online BS. So, here I am trying to tell any other potential buyers to be beware of this worthless software. I am going to try Quicken now to see if its any better. So far all my credit card transcations show up..so this may be a good sign.
