Medal of Honor Airborne Review (continued)
More User Submitted Medal of Honor Airborne Reviews
Date: 2007-12-08 airborne medal of honor this game is garbage,if you base it on 82nd airborne combat jumps in wwII. the only thing that is historically correct are the name's of the combat jumps. the rest is all wrong, the locations of the jumps, the 82nd did not jump into towns and cities that looked like factories. brothers in arms is a much more accurate game when it come down to history.. maybe EA can do a better job next time ..
Date: 2007-12-04 Great game I'm really surprised to see some of the negative reviews of this game on this forum. I'm a big fan of World War II first-person shooters, and this is by far the best one I've played. The graphics are fantastic, the missions are challenging but fun, and I love the fact that the entire game is much less linear than previous Medal of Honor games. Being able to choose where to drop is a great feature. The enemies are far more intelligent than in other shooters, so you never know exactly what to expect. Overall I had a lot of fun playing it, and hope there's an expansion for it soon.
Date: 2007-11-07 Pretty good game with some areas lacking. Medal of Honor has been known for quality gameplay and Airborne is no exception. Graphically the game is great. Single player is fantastic and lends to a lot of creativity. The AI is significantly improved over most shooters. The ability to drop in and start play anywhere gives Airborne a flare all its own. The only disadvantage to this game is multiplayer. The lack of maps and ways to play is limiting at best. Medal of Honor Airborne is a fantastic, challenging and innovative twist on a World War II shooter. My opinon if your looking for a good multiplayer game you might be slightly disappointed in Airborne, but for a single player WWII shooter Airborne is fantastic.
Date: 2007-10-29 Have we not learned anything? Sorry to rant but I hope this is a helpful rant. Have we not learned anything from the past? I wont buy EA games anymore because they simply don't care about what they put into a game anymore, all they care about is pumping out as many games as they can so they can make a quick buck and its seems to have worked. Now I've enjoyed past MOH games but when Call of Duty came out I stopped playing them. I decided to give them another shot and I bought MOH Pacific Assault. I was very upset with it so then I thought well maybe they got it right with Airborne but then I remember about past EA games I bought.
I have EA NHL 07 and I was also kinda disappointed with it. The game is fun but lacks some of the basic things like when I score a goal you can hear crowd goes nuts but the people in the background do nothing and it kinda takes away some of the fun. The people who bought this game were screaming on the forums for updates and actually came up with some great ideas but EA doesn't care they were working on and came out with NHL 08.
EA could care less about the quality of the games they come out with. Now I haven't played Airborne but reading other peoples reviews tells me the same old crap is still happening and I advise you to stop wasting your money on EA games.
Thank you
Date: 2007-10-27 It was fun... but the AI kinda ruined it for me. Over all i am having fun with the game, but the AI kinda ticked me off. I have seen alot of the AI hiding in plain veiw... by that meen on a side of a sand bag wall that fully exposed them to me, standing out in the open to shoot at me. when they were behind cover, they ran back and forth along the same route over and over, would stick there head up long enough for a head shot with the pistol.
but over all i do think thins game had alot to offer, the free roaming levels are sweet.
