Haven't had this much fun in a long time!
SingStar is so much fun for those who love to sing. Not having played KR or any video game for that matter, I can only compare it to traditional karaoke which gives zero guidance beyond the words.
With SingStar, you'll be singing along with the artist so it's a lot like singing in the car along with the radio, except you have all the words and your pitch, timing and tone is measured with bars. An added plus is that every song on SingStar has the music video if one was made.
The games are relatively inexpensive once you buy the microphones. As far as video game prices go, SingStar is on the low end. If you're shy, you don't have to sing alone since there is a battle option. Because the songs are up to date and well known, there is something for everyone. You can hum along with the music and still get a high score. There isn't a crowd to cheer you on, but you can see the point counter and know where you stand.
What impresses me most with the series is the song selection. Everyone can be a super star with SingStar!

Another winner from sing star. Nice variety of songs, that pretty much everyone should be able to identify with. Hours of family fun with these sing star products and sing star pop did not disappoint!

Fun Family Game
We've spent hours playing this game as a family. We're looking forward to using it with friends. The game actually teaches you how to sing better. I'm not as bad as I thought I would be!

Love the game...it's fun for the whole family and all ages! Our teenagers & their friends spend more time at home!

Kick in the pants good time
I am the first to admit that I can't sing but this game is so much fun! They have songs that span the ages so I am able to sing with my family from the grandparents to the kids. It is so much fun and the ability to play back your singing so you can hear is yourself it a cool thing.
