Great if playable.
Search all over the internet for bf2 and you will find technical problems everywhere. You may be able to play the single player after you figure out how to fix the bugs for a few days, but you'll never get through "Invalid CD Key" which will not allow you to play online. There are countless people who are affected by this situation. Secondly, this is not a technical problem you can solve. The internet has answers but it won't solve it on all comps (mine is a new laptop core duo 2). Buy it if you have money to waste, hold off if you want a game you know will work. Why aren't there lawsuits against EA I really have no clue. Some people are lucky enough not to get this, but for the countless thousands who do and have given up, oh well too bad for you (like me).

purchased this game and excitedly installed it which took nearly 10-20 minutes because of all the addons and next buttons you have push. Then load it up and create my ID, refresh the server list, find a server I wanted to try out and bam "Invalid CD-Key".... Why did it let me install it then. 6 reinstalls and many communications with EA games later and nothing has changed except how mad I have become. Also a quick search for Invalid CD-key" in google reveals that I am not alone. Beware if you buy this game you might just be stuck with it.

This is the most amazing action packed game. It's not one of those impossible games. You could never get bored of this game although I recommend that after each round take a 15 to 30 minute break. Ages 10 - 20 will enjoy this game. *****HOW TO MAKE BF2 WORK WITH WINDOWS VISTA PLEASE READ*****
to make bf2 run smoothly with windows vista. Here are the steps:
1. Make a shortcut of BF2 and all the booster packs if you got any.
2.Then right-click on the shortcut and click properties.
3. Click the compatibility tab and check the box "run as administrator"
4. Check the box to run it in compatibility mode and click apply. Then click ok.
5. do this for each shortcut if you have booster packs.
Remember to only start BF2 from thos shortcuts or the changes you made wont be applied! ENJOY! I did those steps to make bf2 work for me and it was really easy.

A very fun game with insane server rules.
I have played many online First person shooters but i have never run into a game that has so many ways to get kicked/banned from its servers.Many of the game servers will kick you for the following reasons:High ping,"Bad language",using claymores,punishing more than three team killers even if they meant to kill you,Not squading up,leaving a squad,using the wrong weapon,negative score and on and on and on.The rules in this game are very very strict and you will be kicked from this game more than any other you have ever played!In between the time you start up the game and the time you are kicked is pretty fun though.You can get behind the wheel of many vehicles including fighter jets,attack choppers,boats and Hummers.This game has the rank system of the real military in which you are promoted in rank depending on your performance in the field.You start out as a private and work your way up by using teamwork and a whole lot of bullets and bombs to take out the enemy.When you advance in rank you even get the chance to be a commander and you can lead the troops in the field and drop supplies and bombs on the enemy from a safe distance.This collection of BF2 has extra maps,vehicles,supplies and weapons than the stand alone game does.Even with the ultra strict rules that BF2 servers have in place this game is a lot of fun that will have you playing for hours on end without taking a break.Any FPS fan should buy this game.
