Installation is a PAIN
Wow! I can't stop playing this game. Online content is very in depth and runs incrediably smoothly. The Commander and Squad leader brings a great level of stragedy to the game. My one complaint is installation took 3!! hours this is not because my computer is slow but rather it was difficult to change installion settings and it recquired constent attention. Oh well game is worth it. I encourage this game for mid range to extreme gamers as the bulk of game material is online.

Battlefield 2
This video game is a great first person shooter with a huge multiplayer service. I enjoyed the use of the multiplayer. The only down side was that it took up alot of space on my computer other than that it was a great overall experience.

Great Game but with Strings Attached
First off let me say that the package is true you do need a HIGH SPEED internet connection to play this game. I have a low speed connection(Dial Up) and it would not work for me. There is a single player with the game and if you are looking for mindless fun or a practice for when you play against pros then buy this game. However, i do feel the game needed a story to help the multiplayer as well as the Single Player. Also the game benefits Air power and aromor more than infantry when it should have all been more even. Also you should have more option when you are starting out and not be limited to the stock kits you start out with. That could have helped newbies gain more ranks quicker. All in all a good game not great but more of a jack of all trades.

To Check to see if it will work on your system...
If you want to check to see if the game will run on your system, you should Google search the BF2 Demo. Its basically the same gaming engine, so if the demo is having issues on your PC, than chances are, so will the full game.

Of course patches are released in order to address common problems, but its foolish to assume that a patch will fix a hardware problem / conflict.

Bottom Line:
Download the demo to check if it will run on your system!!!!!!!

Beta but fun
Ya its beta software that has been out for quite a few years now. But its fun. The hackers that you constantly run into lower the games "fun factor" a bit.

The game does have built in VoIP and also a good team play atmosphere. So if you can not take it personally when a hacker one hits you while he is facing away from you then you might like this game.

A link to my stats page that shows how many hours I've put into the game:
