Any help on this?
Does anybody know why this game will not work on my Dell 6400 laptop? It crashes about 5 minutes into gameplay back to windows. What I can tell of the game from what I have seen it is amazing with really good graphics but cannot review it to the full extent since I have not played the full game. Any help is appreciated and yes I know this is not a help forum but have done a lot of research with no good results.

great game!
I've always been a fan of the C&C games... and by far this one is the best. I've only played a few of the missions so far, but I'm looking forward to seeing how the multiplayer works.

CnC3 Tiberuim Wars Patched version review
First i would like to say that I have been playing this series since Red Alert 2 and have played Tiberiun Sun and Firestorm as well as Renegade.
I have been playing CnC3 since the demo was released and have pained through all of the patches to its current patch of 1.09. (patch 1.10 forthcoming with no real major changes just minor tweaks)
My opinion of this game is that the graphics are much improved over previous titles of this series.
Single player missions are doable in one sitting...if you want to sit for hours on end. Ever since patch 1.09 where the economy was nerfed it is difficult to squeak by a couple missions that were originally programmed for a different economy structure.
Skirmishes are for killing time because the AI does the same thing in all difficutly levels.. rush for 10-20 mins then sit at their base waiting for you to kill them off.
Multiplayer is plagued with cheaters and hackers and I quit playing online months ago. And there is no signs of it stopping even though there are entries on the forums from the EA community manager to the contrary.

The forthcoming expansion Kanes Wrath looks "promising" and I will stop at that.
All in all its a fun game if you are into the RTS genre and with the mutliple difficulty levels and handicap feature..you can set yourself up with alot of scenarios to work thru...but without online play..its just plain not worth the trouble meaning that if you cannot use them online then you really do not know if your strat will actually work against a human opponent.
The Automatch feature was supposed to match you up with someone close to you skill and rank level..but it is broken and doesn't work like it was advertised to.

With exploits abound.. getting an honest match is a crapshoot at best.
If EA had addressed the cheating and exploit and hacking issues I would have ranked this game higher..but I am an online player and this game falls short of the hype given it pre release.

Good
It was a good time waster while deployed. If you are looking for a game to kill some time and have a decent system this is it. Long gone are the days of westwood studios and real games htat people spent time makeing.
