Short, But Sweet
My friend and I have completed all the Nancy Drew games together. Here's what we thought of Creature of Kapu Cave: Loved the Hawaiian scenery (especially on a cold, gray Oregon winter day), the characters are well developed, and the most fun was to switch between Nancy and the Hardy Boys point of view. The puzzles were not hard and were very similar to ones in past games. It didn't take very long to complete the game, but all in all it was a pleasurable experience. However, if HerInteractive does not come up with some really different approaches in the future, I think we will get bored and not order any more Nancy Drew games.

Interesting Points of Veiw but continues to go downhill
I found this game really ineteresting in the fact that you go to play both Nany and the Hardy Boys... with a phone call you trade places and play as the other... Other then that the game like many of the other recent ones have fallen short... Seems like each game has slowly gotten short and ended more abruptly... Honestly I think they have to start putting more thought into these games not just trying to get them out as fast possible... The ideas they have are good... but they have exacuted them very well lately... Hoping the new game does not fall short like the rest

Disappointed Long-Time Nancy Drew Fan...
Alright, so maybe my husband and I aren't exactly in the target audience for the Nancy Drew games, but nonetheless, we've enjoyed playing every single one of the previous thirteen releases. So, after waiting anxiously for their fourteenth, perhaps it goes without saying that I was extremely disheartened upon receiving it to discover that we can't play it. HER Interactive has decided apparently that they care more about Microsoft than their long-time customers and have chosen to support only Windows XP and Vista instead of any of the older operating systems. The company had a very unsatisfactory response to my dilemma, and so I'll be doubly careful next time to read the fine print of the system requirements.

Great fun
This game had lots of fun puzzles and adventures, her best so far.

Disappointed!
I am a huge fan as many others have noted. I agree with other reviewers that this game fell way short of expectations. I think the only reason the game took any time at all was because I kept making necklaces to buy so many snowcones! Very annoying! The puzzles (what puzzles there were) were extremely easy and the ending came way too early. The ending was very anticlimatic and confusing as well. I too miss the good old days of Nancy Drew where there wasn't so much busy work and actual sleuthing skills were needed. I hope the next game will be of a higher caliber or I will probably give up on the series.
