Date: 2007-03-25 Great Software Software is superior...a big step up from 2003. Suprisingly fast shipping from USPS.
Date: 2007-03-23 Disappointed with Publisher 2007 The naviagation tools are difficult to follow. They do not allow for easy access to items that you want to use. The inability to re-load the program has caused a problem for my office. I had to re-load my Windows-XP and could not re-load Publisher 2007 on the same computer. Bummer. $153.00 down the drain. I would not recommend the 2007 version of Publisher to others, it is not user friendly,
Date: 2007-03-14 Some interesting changes from the 2003 version I've been using Publisher since the 98 version came out with mixed results until I understood it quirks and what it was good at doing. I think this time Microsoft got it right or at least close. There are a couple of things that they've added to make it easier to use. When you open the program you have a pane on the right side now that actually shows you an image of what you have been working on, thus finding your work is much easier. The best thing they did that I like is when it comes to labels, postcards, and business cards. They have added the Avery stock numbers to each product so when it comes time to print them you don't have to try and set up your page getting margins right and the proper fit in these type of projects, it's done for you and you can see that they fit your stock using the print preview function. Another change is with the clip art, now it will ask you if you want it to search their (Microsoft) online catalog of clipart saving a lot of hard drive space but you still have the option to download the clip-art if you wish. Everything else is there including the edit story in MS Word and that even works with Word 2003. In fact if you purchase the 2007 version and it finds your old version you will be given the option to remove the 2003 version then install the 2007 version or you can install it so you'll have the use of both versions in case you don't like what the 2007 version offers up. About the only thing that hasn't changed is the activation Microsoft insists you do or after 30 days you'll no longer be able to use the software except to look at a project but no editing is allowed, that's the reason for just 4 stars other then that it has gotten better then the 2003 version. I'm glad that I decided to purchase Publisher 2007 and I'll more then likely end up getting the entire suite for Office 2007.
Date: 2007-03-10 Microsoft Publisher I needed this software to create a newsletter and had never used Microsoft Publisher before. It was easy to learn and my newsletter was prepared quickly and easy. I'm very pleased!!!
