WoW IS KING!!
I've tried all of the MMORPG's out there, and WoW is easily the most fun. The gameplay has tons of depth, and there is something for everyone in the game. Great for casual gamers and hardcore gamers alike. Good family play too!

Buy it, you'll love it. Worth every penny.

enjoy!

Good buy
This is certainly the way to go if your looking into getting into the World of Warcraft.

This game doesn't really break into new grounds in terms of gameplay. Mostly with kill 7 "wolves or goblins" is what your going to be doing alot of the time. They do a fairly decent job of mixing it up so that it doesn't get too overly redundant.

Gameplay is very good and fairly easy to pick up. My only wish would be to make it a bit harder since it seems a bit too easy at times. The world is seamless without load screens (except for when traveling) which is very nice.

The only real problem I had was that at times the community gets very annoying. Lots of it can thankfully be blocked out via filters. As a whole it has more good players than bad.

While I don't play too much of it anymore. Have to split time with Horizons while stuck working six days a week. Sort of cramps your video game time. I'd certainly reccommend this game especially the $40 chest since your getting a good deal.

A decent game.. Doesn't really break new ground..
As with most MOGs in this genre, like Dungeons and Dragons online, Runescape, Rappelz and a some others, WOW doesn't really break new ground. Ultimately, the game boils down to fighting stuff so that you can get better gear to fight more stuff. The graphics are amazing, but the fact that your character really has no effect on the in game environment aside from the fact that you can gank other players gets old after a while. I have a character that is almost level 50 and I've gotten tired of the same old grind.

Players of the game are diverse, and joining a guild helps alot with levelling. Sometimes the guild can help you out with the difficulties of say, purchasing a mount for your character to ride on. Yet, like any on-line community, WOW also has its share of jerks.

While the world can be beautiful to adventure in, and visually, some of the vistas that WOW provides are stunning, the interaction with the world isn't any different than other games in the genre.

When you're on a dungeon quest, sometimes you have to rush through reading the backstory of a quest that is within the dungeon itself because several in the group want to move on.

Because of the extreme amount of ganking that goes on in WOW, its best if you can travel in a group most of the time to dissuade any would be gankers.

WOW isn't like Fallout where some of the decisions you can make in the game actually affects the outcome of the story. Ultimately it boils down to fighting critters and other players and getting better stuff to fight tougher players and critters.

The books provide some assistance for first time players to WOW, but what really helps are the maps. However, it would have been nicer if the Alliance and Horde locations were made more distinguishable on each map.

The Battlechest is a great buy for newcomers to WOW. The game, the expansion, and the Strat Guides are a great deal. For the same price of just purchasing WOW at my local electronics store, I was able to purchase the Battlechest. Quite a deal.

With the visually stunning environments, I can see why WOW is such a popular game. However, for me personally, the game gets repetitive after a while.

Game of the Years
For the past couple of years there has not been a better gaming experience. The World of Warcraft Battlechest set is well worth the value. Hurry up and join before the Wrath of the Lich King launches.

Best Deal
Battlechest is the way to go if you've tried the trial and are interested in WoW.You save money and get decent info about The Buring Crusade content.Until Wrath of the Litch King comes out, this is what you should be buying.

Now as an aside I don't approve of the way Blizzard handles many things, but they do have a stable game that doesn't do strange things like wipe out your OS(as another company has done,CCP.Don't buy into their junk.)

Try the trial first to see if you like the game.If you do buy this and upgrade your account.Try different realms at first until you find one suitable to your gameplay. Then have fun, because frankly that is what this game is all about...fun.
