More User Submitted Saitek Eclipse II Keyboard (PK02AU) Reviews
Date: 2008-11-02 An Excellent Choice! This keyboard {Saitek Eclipse II - PK02AU} is everything good that I've read about it. The feel of the keys and their response to touch is great. The only way to say something negative about this product is to go way out of your way to do so. I am absolutely happy with this keyboard! Thanks for putting out such a quality and well thought out product.
Date: 2008-10-24 Decent Keyboard I have had no problems, the keyboard is good and I enjoy typing on it.
Date: 2008-10-16 Great Keyboard Pro: Solid feel Great lighting options Back lighting works great Keys are pretty good Simple layout, no extra crap you don't need Responsive keys for gaming
Con: Keys aren't perfect, a bit mushy for my taste by I've gotten used to them fine You have to hold down the control key very hard for it to register, take this into consideration if you play games that need ctrl often (crouch in most fps games) because sometimes it will release even though I'm pushing the key with moderate pressure
Date: 2008-10-15 Saitek Eclipse II lighted keyboard Nothing cooler than seeing your keyboard in a dark room. No more squinting, waiting for your eyes to adjust to see your old, dark keyboard. Three colors to choose from (blue, red, purple). Dimmer control to adjust how bright you want it. Or turn off the lights all together. Excellent product. Can't find it cheaper than at Amazon either.
Date: 2008-10-10 Excellent, except when it does dead I am using this keyboard with Windows Vista. The backlit keys are wonderful when I am working in natural light and the day gets late.
I have one problem. When Vista goes into hibernate mode, the keyboard goes dark, which is okay. Then I hit the SHIFT key on my keyboard and Vista wakes back up. Once Vista wakes up, my mouse always works, but about one time in ten the keyboard fails to light up again and nothing I type is seen by Vista. I have rebooted to fix this.
Minor detail - I personally prefer a smaller keyboard, which would fit better on the keyboard pull-out of my desk, but I know that some people prefer the big keyboards.
