Decent keyboard...
This is a pretty nice keyboard. I personally like the backlit keys (which is actually what talked me into the keyboard to begin with). There are actually TWO levels of brightness - and they're not too far apart. I prefer the highest setting, since it helps more in my gameroom.
Haven't had enough experience yet to test the macro capability.
The keys feel sturdy, but mushy (which is actually pretty common in keyboard nowadays anyway). Personally I'd feel a little better with more tactile feel, but it'll do.
The extra USB ports will certainly come in handy.
Overall, I'd give it an "A-" only because I think it's a bit expensive.
When I get into it, I think the macro programming ability will be quite a plus.

This keyboard is awesome, when I got it the price was just awesome @ 58.66 who would pass that deal up? now I see it has risen ouch for the rest of you xD,
lets get on track. this keyboard is massive! barely fit on my desk, because I'm dual screening. this keyboard is awesome not enough words can describe this thing. JUST GET IT!

the light should be white not blue
it takes getting used to EVERY TIME YOU USE IT. AT LEAST 10 MINUTES. even with putting it at its brightest.
blue looks nice in a picture but actually sucks when its in front of you.
Seriously. maybe amazon should foward this email to logitech so they could
get it bright.

Nice keyboard but the software does not always work
The gaming keys are useful not only for games The problem is that the software to enable them based on the application running does not always work. This is the case with UltraCompare, for example. After the program is launched, the keys do not work initially but after a couple of tries they do.

G11 is ok if you need a cheap good gameing keyboard
Well the G15 v2 2007 is only about a few bucks more. so if you need a keyboard and dont have enuff this would be your best replacement option. But the G15 is better.
