Date: 2008-10-02 Perfect This keyboard is so useful!! The macro keys are really great to store passwords and small text files or can be used with games
The back light design is really bright and you can see every key perfectly
A little big, but nothing to worry about unless your workspace is really tight on space.
Get this keyboard if you type often!!
Date: 2008-09-23 my first worry-free keyboard got this few days ago, i really like it.. don't have any problem with this keyboard, the g-keys are all working in any game and useful for non-gaming application as well..
illuminated keys are perfect for late night typing or gaming, great typing feel and really love the blue glows..
many people said that they always mistaken g-keys with ctrl button; no need to worry, that does not always happening..
can't see any problem with this keyboard..everything looked nice..never use the usb port on the keyboard but i'm not planing to use it anyway since i still got 5 unused usb ports.
i give it 5 out of 5 for perfect performance.
Date: 2008-09-21 Like it...mostly Pros: Good key action; audio controls included Cons: too dim; USB ports require self-powered items; tilt angle too shallow
For the most part, I like it, but I'm looking for a replacement. It's just too dim. Sorry Logitech, "off" does not qualify as a brightness level, and all we get is off, dim and less dim. The keys are just not bright enough unless the room is almost dark, and even then the light from the monitor make the keys hard to see. They really should have gone for a higher contrast color pairing than blue on black. The USB ports are a joke, really. I'm not sure what they mean in the description by "full speed"...is that USB1 or USB2? Just spell it out. In any case, you'll need USB items with their own power sources, since the keyboard does not have enough power to run even a small USB drive. The keyboard barely tilts - barely enough for cables to squeeze under.
With that said, I do like the key action and audio controls. It is a fairly comfortable keyboard for extended use.
Date: 2008-09-07 Review of Logitech's G11 Gaming Keyboard I found the G11 keyboard to be perfect for what I was looking for. The feel of the keys is good and there are plenty of macro keys to use.
Date: 2008-09-04 Awesome for Windows Vista, not so awesome for Macintosh. I love using this keyboard on my windows machines. It is easy to set up and is very intuitive in its game settings. The added keys allow for some neat macros to be used in World of Warcraft. These allow for added pwnage against people with standard keyboards.
I tried using this on my Mac Pro OSX 10.5.x. It did function as any normal keyboard but the extra keys didn't seem to do too well. I was able to tweak it a bit but they were never as good as when I was using it in Windows Vista.
All in all a wonderful piece of kit for your Windows based machine.
