Let's Ride: Silver Buckle Stables Review (continued)

Date: 2007-03-11 ok, but boring and not much to do. This game was not as fun as other games I have. This game you didn't get to do much, and the graphics are not too good. I have seen just about every horse game ever made for computers. This one was NOT the greatest. The was chopps and easy to practice, but hard to beet.
Date: 2007-02-18 It's ok... I think that this game is ok, if you just like to ride. You don't do much of learning how to take care of your horse, except to brush, bathe, feed, and water your horse. All you really do is just ride. There are a lot of horse combinations (color, markings) which I think is good... It's ok if you like to win western competitions like barrels, and poles.
Date: 2006-12-16 It was ok... When I first got it, it was fun, but then after a while I stopped playing it. It says over 10 different breeds, but the horses are no different. All you do is enter competitions and groom your horse..I don't really think this is one of the better games.
Date: 2006-12-03 Awsome Game for Horselovers!!! This is a fun game!I play it over and over again! You get to chose the color, saddle, briddle, and eye color of your horse. The competitions are fun and tough. You get to ride your horse on beautiful trails. You can also own more than one horse!Don't just sit there!!Get the game!!!!!!!!!!!!
Date: 2006-11-24 Overall, one of the better "Let's Ride" games. Let's Ride: Silver Buckle Stables is one of the better of the "Let's Ride" series of horse-related games.
Although it might say there are "20 different breeds," there is no difference in the size, shape, or conformation of any of the horses. It is more like 20 different colors. A good thing is that you can mix and match coat colors, mane colors, blankets, saddles, bridles, and even eye color. You unlock more coat colors as you move up in the classes.
The competition's are fairly easy to beat, but they do go up in difficulty as you move up in classes. The mini-games are also around the farm, but are basically the same as the competition games made to go around natural obstacles.
Finally, I do like the "quick play" of this game compared to most. You still have to bathe and brush your horse, but it is fairly quick, and feeding and watering isn't too bad either. Although you don't do some main things, such as pick hooves, muck stalls, etc, it does help in the aspect of being able to go back to the competitions quicker instead of doing everything around the barn for 5 minutes until you can ride again like some horse-related games make you do.
Overall, good game.
