Date: 2006-08-30 fun fun fun!!! this game is sweet! i gust got done beating it and it was so cool.me and my freind both agree that the only part we hated was calling people you had to dail 17 numbers to call one person (ONE PERSON!!!)I thougt the ending was......diferent,but still fun .i thought the graphics were awesome and the mystery was ok.i would deffently reconmend this game for ages 10 and up. PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!
Date: 2006-08-28 Nancy Drew Games are Fun I enjoy adventure games, but I enjoy Nancy Drew and Harry Potter adventure games the most and I can enjoy them with my kids, too. I have played ALL of the ND games and this is not one of my favorite ones, but enjoyed it very much still. My favorites include Danger on Deception Island and The Scarlet Hand because I like the museum learning aspects. Danger by Design could have had some great museums, but too bad it doesn't.
PROS: - Takes place in Paris - Paris Metro map (as I recall) is fairly accurate - Puzzles were fun and not too tedious or difficult - A little french language included - The history is interesting - Earning money and shopping - Minnette's workshop is interesting - windmill - Not having to set an alarm clock to do particular activities - Interface and graphics in general are good
CONS: - Would have enjoyed a few more puzzles - make game last longer - Would have enjoyed more french themed puzzles / interaction - Would have enjoyed more fashion - Would have enjoyed more Paris scenes - Not enough interaction with other characters - Needed more options for earning money (same 2 got boring)
Looking forward to the next installment in October!
Date: 2006-08-26 One of the besy Nancy Drew games! I was anxiously awaiting this game and it held up to expectations. I love playing Nancy Drew.
Date: 2006-08-25 Must love this game. My 13 year old daughter and I have been playing the Nancy Drew games since she was about 9. We LOVE them all. They are fun, challanging and worth the wait between games. Danger by Design is no exception. We now play our own game and compare where we are and will help each other when necessary. I highly recommended this series to anyone. Actually I have and more than a few friends are now as hooked as we are.
Date: 2006-08-25 Nancy Drew: Danger by Design My 14 year old daughter and her four girl cousins, ages ranging from 12-16 years old, absolutely LOVE the Nancy Drew games. Although this one, "Danger by Design", was not as challenging as some of the earlier games, the girls still enjoyed solving the mystery, beating their previous times, and listening to the "catchy" phrases coming from the audio portion of the game. It's great entertainment for an overnight slumber party.
