Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Review (continued)
More User Submitted Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Reviews
Date: 2007-01-14 Even Fun for Mom My 9 year old and I have been playing with this non-stop since he got it for his birthday. I cannot recommend it highly enough. As a 40+ mom, gaves where you can keep playing even after your character dies (and dies and dies and dies...stop hitting me with your light saber!) is a huge plus.
Encourages lots of teamwork in 2-player mode, I hope they come out with a III for Wii by next Christmas!
Note: We play this one our Wii...I love that all our GC games can be played on the Wii so we only have to have one game system set up.
Date: 2007-01-11 Kids love this one! All I heard from my youngest son before Christmas was "I WANT Lego Star Wars II!" I wasn't sure what the big attraction was, but ordered it anyway. Wow! Was that gift the biggest hit of Christmas or what?! My 12 year old and 14 year old headed straight to the GameCube and played until we had to MAKE them come out and enjoy some of their other presents. This game allows for some creativity and humor which delights me, since most games are so violent and mindless (and we don't allow them in our house!) I would recommend Lego Star Wars II to other parents-- as I would any item with the Lego name attached! On behalf of my children, I will pass on this note: "Lego Star Wars II ROCKS!"
Date: 2007-01-10 Best Sequel ever for the Best GAME ever If you like Legos and Star Wars (and the number 2) this is the game for you. Unlike the first game you get to mix and match caracters 9and play them in free mode). You also get to build stuff out of legos that are lying around for people who don't have the force. If your lucky it will be a viechle like a star ship, really bid droid thing, or ATATs (and some times a trator!) ,and you really get to ride them. There are also less lightsabers in this game. In place for that people with guns can hit. Yes, Chewbaca can rip clones arms of. This game won't make much sence to people who have never seen Star Wars before. But they try to make it clear that Darth Vader is lukes father ect. ect. with out talking.
Date: 2007-01-10 My son's favorite game My son has loved Lego Star Wars 1 for over a year and now he has a new favorite (LSW II). He's thrilled with the characters and driving the vehicles. This is his favorite game.
