Date: 2008-12-01 Keepsake is a keeper I was impressed with the graphics, landscape and music of this game. The story line was full of interesting characters. I completed the first level and was blown away when I entered the second level to see a whole new set of puzzles - even more challenging than the first level. (I suggest the makers consider reducing the amount). The flow of the game was somewhat confusing and I found myself accessing the help function a great deal. The first time I played, the game hung and produced code errors. Evidently this is a known problem because I found a patch on the Keepsake website. DOWNLOAD AND RUN THIS PATCH AFTER INSTALLING THE GAME. It will save having to start your game over.
Date: 2008-10-23 Rather Enjoyable! I finally purchased this game after browsing the pc game shelves and reading its description in a Best Buy for the fifth time. It was pretty darn good. I was consumed into the story as soon as I opened the school's front doors. I loved the graphics! I actually wanted to be in her place just to walk around the building myself. It is a little redundant with the walking and teleporting back and forth though. On the other hand I actually liked the storyline. At least it was consistent and going somewhere. I can see myself in the future dusting it off and playing it again. I truly enjoyed it!!
Date: 2008-10-22 beautifully rendered! This little world is beautifully created. The textures and renderings of the castle and it's grounds are so well done, I wished I could actually step into the game and wander around myself. I only wish the script and voice acting was given a bit more attention as that would have really set this game apart. Oh.. and a zip mode would have been helpful into the latter part of the game. But all in all, it was worth playing just to see the graphics and the puzzles provided a few enjoyable evenings of relaxing adventure.
Date: 2008-09-28 Pretty Good Adventure Game I'm a big fan of adventure games, and I honestly enjoyed this one. You're getting plenty of gameplay (over 10 hours), so it's worth the money. A lot of puzzles, ranging from very easy, to one virtually impossible. Plenty of different types of puzzles as well - all well integrated into the story line. Nice graphics, decent sound, and a relatively engaging story. The only downside is the fact that there is no fast way of getting from one spot to another. Still - I'd recommend this to any adventure gamer.
Date: 2008-08-05 Great Adventure Puzzle Game I'm not much of a shoot 'em up and slash and burn type of gamer so this game really clicked well with me. I always print out the walkthrough and use it as a guide, but you really don't need any help because if you're stumped, there is a help button that you can click to get lots of help with the puzzles. The graphics are great and the storyline believable. The ending was a bit anti-climactic, but I enjoyed it overall.
