NELS LARSON : I have been playing this games for years and it never gets old. If you are looking for a first person real time war game this game is tons o fun.

Awesome deal
This has all of Battlefield 1942's expansions, patches, etc - as well as Battlefield Vietnam! It even has the map editors and server applications. You WILL have to get the latest patch from the official game websites or you will NOT be able to play on a lot of online servers, as you will get an "incompatible version" type error when you try to connect. Surprisingly, there are still a fair amount of people playing this game online, which is what always made this game franchise so great - playing against real people instead of robots. For the price, this pack cannot be beat. I bought it, though I had 1942 and all of it's expansions, just to have the disks in one easy place, and Battlefield Vietnam. This game will also play on "outdated" computers, as the requirements are pretty low. See you on the battlefield!

Great multi player game!
I've been playing this game for almost 5 years, and Battlefield 1942 is a much better multiplayer game than single player. Match your skill online with other players, talk with people around the world while you play! You can drive and shoot tanks, fly different kinds of planes, shoot using your choice of pistols, bazookas, rifles and grenades. Between the original 1942 game and the expansion packs, there are still all kinds of maps and levels to play! People of all ages enjoy this game. Online gaming communities such as MoonGamers have people who can help you learn how to play and perfect your skills.

Ultimate gamage
This proved to be an amazing buy. I was a little sceptical about buying it at first because bulk games are never a good idea. However, this came in the mail rediculously fast, and it arrived in peak condition. All the games work, and they all allow perfect internet access for online play. Thank you for this product, I will continue to be your customer, and play this game until it or I dies. Thanks again!

Battlefield 1942: The Complete Collection
The game is great right out of the box. Since the game now comes with all the patches included, you don't have to go through the hassle of digging around to find the patches and installing them. Patches make things especially irritating when you're trying to run a mod which also has patches and the combination of the patches must be applied in a very exacting order or they won't work properly.
The overall rating I gave the game is only four stars because of the low number of maps included. When you compare the number of maps included with a game like UT, if feels as though there should be more maps with Battlefield 1942. Only three maps in the WWII mod was also a little disappointing, although I'm glad that they included the Phillipines map with the set.
