Date: 2008-10-11 Fun way to kill time This is just a fun way to spend an hour or two while waiting for something or someone to call, come over, or while waiting for yor favorite TV show to come on. For those with a really competitive nature you can cetainly get into this game and see how high a score you can get. The price is reasonable and the games (there are several different ways to play)are fun. what more could you ask for?
Date: 2008-08-24 Quick PC Entertainment This is an old classic with some optional neat variations in play. I bought this game for my laptop to play when I'm on the road as it doesn't require a lot of graphics. Plus I can stop it anytime and it is easy to play with a bit of a challenge. I am again so happy with Amazon.com and NothingButSoftware.com for the rapid efficient delivery & service they provided.
Date: 2008-06-30 Even For The Old at Heart At 74 years of age playing this game might seem a little silly....However it provides a great deal of intense focus for an old man and keeps him on his toes, both mentally and phyically, at least the eyeballs really keep working. It usually takes me several games to get warmed up and than I can build up a sizeable point count.
Date: 2008-06-08 Visually beautiful, Addictive fun, Nonviolent This is a relaxing computer game with no violence or ethical drawbacks. It is mentally stimulating to solve. Several different game modes are available and the gorgeous computer design is a feast for the eyes. It can induce a tranquil, almost meditative state. I used it as an aid to deal with post-traumatic stress syndrome from a car accident. By playing the game before bedtime I was able to substitute the lovely visuals of cascading jewels and avoid waking up from dreams of reliving the accident. I still use it to separate myself from the stresses of my work day.
My main complaint with this game is that there is no quick Pause feature. To exit the game one must click out on multiple screens. The game is saved for future playing, but the lack of a quick pause button makes it hard to multi-task with the game on.
Another gripe I have is that the titles of the various levels seem rather confusing and there is no list to fan the ambition of an aspiring gamer. I find this minor, but folks who really like competition will find this wimpy.
This is a fun game for everybody to play.
