i am tired of other people yelling and screaming i hate xbox boo hoo thats 1 persons opinion quit bitching!!! i own a ps2 and an xbox sure xbox has less than 100 title that are orginal it still a good system i bought 1 used and it still works after 4 years of avid playing halo is the biggest selling game in the country but xbox 360 also have bioshock halo 3 and others ps2 best selling game is gta san andreas whoopdie do i dont care they are the same and the nintendo gamecube sucks it copies off of every one else metroid prime is just like halo and medal of honor they are the same quit your bitching and go make an educated decsion insted of yelling at some one elses view each person cant say the same they just judge based on a crowd that no one cares about i enjoy it it is worth 130$ and they have very orginal titles like ninja gaiden and they have awsome adventure games and good rpg games buy if you enjoy good games awsome graphics!!!!!!!!well worth they money!!!!

Somewhat fun at first!
The original Xbox is a very entertaining and fun console; it holds its own among the other console giants (Playstation, Nintendo, etc.) There are many games that can be played, for instance, Halo, and it even plays songs and movies. However, this particular console doesnt seem to have a very long lifespan. After only a couple of years, it begins to have problems with disc-reading and overheating. Most commonly, it refuses to read any disc you put in it, making the entire machine just a useless waste of electronics. Buy this console if you want to have fun now, and dont mind spending $100 to get it fixed every year, or get something that will last longer like a Playstation. The choice is yours, but let me add that it is VERY annoying later on trying to get this thing to work at all.

The original Xbox....old habits die hard!
I received my first Xbox console during the summer of 2002 and as a bundle pack I also received 2 controllers, a remote control adaptor and 2 games. One game was a racing game and the other was the infamous "Halo" game. After about 3 weeks of procrastination, I decided to hook it all up and just experiment with it....it had been awhile since I had last played any video game system. The racing game was just ok. The Halo game was incredible, addictive and fascinating! I played constantly and even went so far as to use a few "sick" days at work because I was so involved with working my way through the different levels of difficulty.
When my original Xbox went "kapoots", I felt terrible and immediately went on an Xbox shopping expedition. I bought one on Ebay, but it soon began to "act up" so I got rid of that one and went with the new/refurbished one from "Ourspecialgift" via Amazon.com. This new machine is perfect and allows me to once again, play the Halo game whenever I want. I'll eventually buy a new 360 model but am in no hurry as I'm completely convinced that it may very well be a great disappointment. I have absolutely NO complaints in regards to my buying experience with Amazon or Ourspecialgift. Hope this review helps.

The second best game console I have had
Back in November of 2001 I was reading my gaming magazine. About the Xbox from Microsoft and I was so excited to get one. I went to Funcoland to buy it. The console wasn't released yet so I bought a game called Halo. Had no clue what it was about, but was I in for a shock. When I got the Xbox and got home I was amazed by the graphics of this system. Mind you I had a psx before and n64 too. This system was and still is awesome.
What was amazing about it was it had a hard drive no more memory cards to worry about. Also loading times were cut down a lot more. I know alot people would say buy a 360 instead of the xbox. But the nice thing is you can get one cheap and games are cheap as well. I say buy it and enjoy what Microsoft started as in the gaming world

Love it, but may be a bit biased
I just got an xbox finally a month ago. Ive wanted one for a few years now. Since i got this system after all the third generation consoles came out, i dont have the monery for a 360 and i own a wii, my opinion may be a bit biased. the graphics arnt fantastic but other than that i love it. its simple to use and because i got it so late, nothings to exspensive to buy for i anymore.
