Big game that will keep you busy
If you plan to enter the world of this game, I suggest you to go slowly, as you may not like it. A friend convinced me to try the game, as I am much a Guild Wars fan than this. So I tried out the free 10 day trial and the game is kinda sticky, so I decided to go further and bought the original game (not the expansion), as they give you a free month. Well I have being playing this game for almost 3 weeks and I must admit it is a big game, it has a lot of content and things to keep you distracted with.

It is easy to make money with this thing called "professions", you can have two at the same time, my friend told me to pick up two gathering professions to make easy money at start and is working! One thing I definitely LOVE in this game is the Auction House, one thing I don't like about this game is that it's users are separated by Servers or "Realms", so yeah it has over 9 millions of players online blah blah blah, but it has over 100 servers, so what, you barely see people inside unlike you are in a capital city or pvp areas (I haven't being on pvp areas yet).

Another thing I don't like about this game is that you can't jump into PvP action from the beginning, something that Guild Wars definitely will always shine for, two separate contents PvE and PvP. So over here you gotta lvl up your way to the cap and get good equip, but PvE content will keep you busy.

So in the end, I think I will be playing this game for a while (definitely will stop, not indefinitely, but to play the upcoming Guild Wars 2), IF I still playing it when I am high level, I will purchase the expansion to be able to go to outland, some new world introduced with Burning Crusade.

Player beware, as for a game that collects monthly profits (and I am talking about GOOD profits) you expect at least no bugs, but there are few strange bugs that you say "this is a very common bug, why if the game has a lot out there has bugs like this one?" It is very strange that this happens to you but, sometimes if you kill a mob, it "dies" but appears to be alive yet and frozen...

Game is fun, beware of the people playing it
Sadly, even though the game itself is great, if you're going into it with an idea that you'll be entering a different fantasy world be warned - it's exactly like real life, only more so in many respects. Both myself and my fiancee experienced almost nonstop incidents of harassment, sexual harassment, foul language, blatant racism, psychotics who've made the game their only interest in life (and believe the game belongs only to them, and you HAVE to play their way or they'll dog your every step and insult you constantly), on and on and on. The Blizzard game managers exercise almost no control over the situation, and do pretty much nothing to help players having these problems. Usually the only solution they offer is to recommend changing realms (for a $25 fee per character, gee thanks), change your character's name to chase the harassers away (for just a $10 fee per character - what a bargain!) or for you to put offending players on 'ignore'. But we found all realms equally bad, and after 'ignoring' up to 100 players per day for almost 6 months we just got fed up and realized there were better and more productive ways to spend our lives. If you're a parent thinking about exposing your children to this world, I strongly urge you to pass it by unless you want your kids to learn how to be abusive and foul mouthed.

Better The Everquest...A lot better.
I first began my online gaming with Everquest 2, that got really old and boring so i canceled my account and for almost two years i stop playing online games until i saw this in my local store and decide to buy, long story short i love this game very fun, and simple but never get tired of it playing it. Graphics are a little toonish but beside that a great game. Thanks to this game I got the courage to downloaded a trail version of Everquest to see which i like better, which is most likely this one but who knows.

Overwhelmingly fun and addicting
This is probably one of the best computer games I have ever played. It is so involved, but also quite easy to play and understand. I imagine anyone could play this game and almost immediately understand what they are supposed to do. However, there are also many levels to the game which makes it fun even for the most advanced gamer. The only problem with this game is that once you stop playing you better be ready to give up the next several months of your life to it.
