The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Review (continued)
More User Submitted The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages Reviews
Date: 2001-12-29 Truly, handsdown the BEST Zelda game for the GBC... I must say, that while I am not a big fan of Nintendo, I have ALWAYS been a sucker for the Legend of Zelda games. I must reccomend this game to any of you who are interested in puzzles and adventure. Embark on a journey as the Hyrulean hero Link as the triforce calls you to the mysterious country of Labrynna, and you must rescue Nayru the Oracle of Ages from a devastating fate, and on top of it all, you MUST SAVE TIME! This game is a must, a true must for any people who like to embark on fun, exciting, puzzling adventures.
Date: 2001-12-22 Great Game! A great Zelda game. Even better with Seasons. You must buy it! That is all I have to say.
Date: 2001-12-18 oh my they've done it again. a great zelda game period.
Date: 2001-12-17 THE BEST ZELDA GAME EVER MADE, BETTER THAN MM and OoT This is by far the best Legend of Zelda game ever made! Better than The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past; The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening; The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time; The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask put together! People say it's difficult. IT IS NOT DIFFICULT, HARD, OR CHALLENGING! The only part you may have trouble with is the Goron Dance. It will be worth your money. Get the (...) now!
Date: 2001-12-13 Interesting, but confusing. This game plays well for those who have followed the Zelda Saga, however, for the few who purchased the game without having played the others, boss battles were extremely difficult because few hints are provided. It is suggested that this game is more puzzle based than the Seasons variant, and I agree. It was good enough that I played it all the way through, and the secret system it uses is interesting, and enough to warrent playing the other game to enjoy those rewards. I would be happier, though, if more clues were dropped here and there to make boss fights less of a shot in the dark to those of us who've never encountered them on other Zelda games.
