Date: 2003-10-18 It's so nice! Though it is a little hard, but I like it espessially the Subrosia and the rod of season. But I think the Harp Of Ages in the Zelda of Ages is easier to use. It is a challenging game and it have a lot of levels to past. I love to surf on the water to!
Date: 2003-09-29 Not a great story, but a great game! Th story in this game isn't that original. well, actually, theres nothing original about it. But who cares! Oracle of ages has more deph and story and puzzles and hard stuff and is probably longer. But OoS is good too. The bosses are resonably hard and the rare puzzles are SUPER HARD! Well anyway, the gameplay is great and the only other bad thing is the fact that the screen is small. Plus your thumbs/fingers may/will get swore. Also if you play it on a GBA, there are extra stuff. And also, to the guy who didn't know how to wear rings. Go to the Jewlers, get them appraised, get a ring box, when you talk to him select list, put rings in ring box, go to start screen, go across one screen by pressing select, and select the ring who want to wear! All in all, BUY this game! and OoA, so you can play a linked game with the password you get at the end of the game! And if you forget that! Don't worry, the Oracle of secrets inside the maku tree(hall of secrets) will tell you what it was!
Date: 2003-09-01 ARRGGH i just got my gameboy color used off ebay and it is in perfect condition. so then i got some gameboy color games off the interent, including super mario bros deluxe, donkey kong country, and zelda oracle of seasons. i really like smbd but as a first time owner of any video game thingy ( i've never had a gameboy, or a nintendo or a playstation or an xbox) i really didn't like zelda. although i read the instruction manuel many times i still couldn't quite understand!!! how do you put rings on??? and how do you fight creatures (i couldn't fight the creatures that you approach that come in the first 15 min of the game!!!) I COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT! sooo if anyone wants to tell me how to do any of those things please do! (except for the fact that i didn't really give you a way to contact me) hahaha)
Date: 2003-08-31 A great zelda game While I think Oracle of Ages is better in story and challanges/puzzles, Oracle of seasons is still great. The story is simple, A baddie named general Onox, kiddnappes Din, the Oracle of seasons, puts her in a crystel prison, and sinks the temple of season, causing the seasons of holodrum into caos. You, Link, are sent by zelda's nurse and the maku tree to rescue Din and restore the seasons to normal. The main item in this game is the rod of seasons, which you use to command the seasons of holodrum. This game has a lot more action then puzzles, so your more likely to die of getting attacked then dieing of frustration. The graphics are alright and the sound is as good as the GBC can make them, and the gameplay is really great. All and all this game is a definate buy!
Date: 2003-08-18 The Perfect Gift For Any Kid or Adult! If the Zelda series doesn't ring a bell in your mind, obviously you do not know what you are missing out on! This game and its sister title, Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages, were the last releases for the Gameboy Color era, and the best as well. The controls in this game are easy for anybody to learn. They pretty much consist of moving and selecting items! Your 8 year old will have no problem whatsoever with it. The storyline is not confusing or complex, there are just many side-stories. The graphics are bright, colorful, and detailed. There are so many things to explore, you could never get bored of this game.
I recommend this game for the player who likes the hack-and-slash sort of games. If you are a long-time Zelda fan or enjoy solving puzzles, buy Oracle of Ages. However, if you have the money, buy both games. They link together without two systems and a cable. In other words, if you complete one game, you recieve a password for the next that changes the storyline and events. Happy Questing!
