The Best Sonic game ever!
With my purchase of my Dreamcast I also bought the game Sonic Adventure. I have to say Sonic Adventure 2 is a huge improvement over Sonic Adventure and doesn't have as many flaws.Sonic is mistaken for an evil Hedgehog named Shadow who has been spreading danger across the world. The military and all police units are after Sonic and you need to escape Sonic from them and avoid them in many of the levels. There are many fun modes you can play in: Story Mode, Kart Mode and Chao Raising Mode. Story mode is the main game. You can choose to play as the Hero's (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles) or the Dark villains (Shadow, Rogue and Dr. Robotnik). Kart mode is just like Mario Kart games for the Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64. You unlock Kart racing after you complete the first 9 stages. You can play in one player or two player and race as Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Shadow or Rogue in 3 different courses. Raising a Chao can be frustrating sometimes, but it is also fun. You teach your Chao to do new things while being nice to it, but trying not to spoil it. This mode gets old after a while though. The levels in this game are amazing. Each level includes different missions that get more challenging as you get deeper in to the game. The graphics are very realistic and when the spins and jumps Sonic does look very smooth. The gameplay is a lot better than Sonic Adventure. Sonic also has new abilities to grind on rails, and swing form vines and bars. And there is also a newer helper Chao named OmoChao who gives you hints in each level. Sonic Adventure 2 is loaded with secrets to unlock. If you get All 'A' rankings in each of the levels many great secrets are unlocked. Also, getting all 180 emblems is very rewarding. There are many other secrets to unlock as well. There are only two minor flaws in this game. The camera angles don't always show the direction you want to see and you can't play just as one character like you could in SA1. Overall this is my favorite Sonic game ever and the best Dreamcast game that I have ever played. Sadly, it is the last Sonic game to be on a Sega console.

SONIC FOREVER
This game kicks wow I have loved sonic since his sega debue but this game goes above and beyond my expections in this sonic installment you can choose between the good guys or bad guys on the good team is sonic tails and knuckles and on the bad team is eggman shadow {a evil hedgehog} and rouge the bat so conquer the world or save it and thats it right? WRONG! TO Master the game you need to beat the game with the hero side and dark side and beat the last story also win every chao race raise the ultimate chaos beat every mission with rank A win every kart race and boss attack then beat green hill zone then you can play through the game with 6 new characters being amy chao tikal big the cat chaos and metal sonic. In addition to all that it has a two player mode where you can race fight and hunt for treasure truly a perfect game

This Game is awesome!
I like the 2P racing mode with Sonic & Shadow. The graphics are awesome! The kart racing is really good in 2 player mode.The best Dreamcast game out there (or out of all of the ones I've played). I recommend this game.

Sonic is Cool
Sonic Adventure 2 is all around a decent, although somewhat disappointing game. It had a lot of potential, and got surprisingly good reviews, but it did not live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, Sonic/Shadow levels are awesome, and really fun despite being easy. I would even have to say that Sonic levels by themselves would nab a 5. The game's major fault, however, is the different levels for different characters. It would be fine to play with Knuckles or Tails in levels similar to Sonic ones. They are cool characters. But instead, Tails (as well as Eggman) are put into inane shooter levels. They are bearable, but detract from the games essence. The Knuckles/Rouge levels, on the other hand, are downright horrible, and possess almost no redeeming value (other than you get to be Knuckles, and glide, punch, and climb on things). The storyline is surprisingly good and well thought out, as well as non-cliched, for a simple action game. Having a Hero and Dark sides of the storyline is really cool, and they help color each other in. The cut scenes are plentiful and well done, though the English voice acting is terrible (Japanese voices with English subtitles is preferable). The bosses and boss fights are interesting and added a special flare (at least the ones that weren't other playable characters). The graphics are nice. A little outdated, but good enough that it doesn't detract from the game. Though the camera is bad enough for it to be impossible to see any of the graphics anyway. On a side note, I think that is exactly how Sonic and Eggman look. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. The music is amusing at first, but seemingly not very well done (the menu screen music, if left running for ten minutes, is enough to drive one insane). One last thing to mention: Chao World. It is a nice, adorable, well programmed, fun little diversion, but is ultimately pointless (especially without a working VMU). All in all, Sonic Adventure 2 was cool, but with some infuriating flaws, like non-Sonic/Shadow levels, which pulled it down from 5 to 3 stars. Still, I would suggest buying it if you're looking for a little action or adventure. Have fun.

Great Apropiate Games
This is defanatly one of the best 1 player game rated E. No bad language. No realistic violence either.
The story line of the game is that a long time ago a mad scientist, Dr. Robotnik created an evil copy of sonic named Shadow. Now Dr. Eggman,Robotnik's grandfather or father(I don't remember),set free Shadow who escaped and left to the deserted space colony ARK. Eggman goes because Shadow will show him a power. Shadow is now wanted by a government force,G.U.N., and Sonic is mistaken for Shadow and gets captured, but he gets out and escapes from the city he landed in. He ends up fighting eggman in the end.
This game also includes chao like in Sonic Adventure one. YOu raise little creatures and can play with them and race them.
