Date: 2002-10-16 Sega..........What have you done? When I first played the demo for this game I was pretty excited, but when I got the game I was immediatley disappointed. If your expecting a remake or similarities of the first game, let me just say think again. All you do is select your side (Hero or Dark) and play the scenerio and get all the emblems plain and simple. Besides that the camera angles are a mess you'll get SO frustrated with them. Finally this game is very plain and simple I personally beat the game (without all emblems) in two days but its all how you play. If your a hardcore Sonic fan buy it but expect to be disappointed.
Date: 2002-09-30 Too bad it's not as good as Battle... This is a 3-star value. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle exclusively for Nintendo Gamecube is better for 4 reasons:1. Better graphics. SA2 has some neat graphics, but Sonic & the gang look better on Gamecube (DC is 128-bit, GC is 162-bit). 2. Better 2P mode. SA2: Battle's possibilities are endless (Chaos & Knuckles in Hunting, Dark Chao Walker and Tails in Shooting, Metal Sonic and Sonic in Racing or 2 of 3 girls, Tikal and Rouge in Hunting, Chao Walker and Eggman in Shooting, or Amy and Shadow in Racing, as well as a ton more stages (Dry Lagoon, Mad Space, Death Chamber, City Escape, Metal Harbor, White Jungle, Cosmic Wall, Hidden Base, Iron Gate) as well as bonuses (Downtown & Grind Races (racing) Deck & Pyramid Races (shooting) as well as Pool & Planet Quests (hunting)). 3. Better Chao raising. You now can buy 7 fruits, 8 seeds, eggs, and masks for your Chao, play Chao Karate, get more tips from the Principal, take more classes, earn more races, and name your Chao in game. 4. Game Boy Advance compatibility. Sonic Advance and SA2: Battle can hook up with a link so you can play and train your Chao on the go. You can buy fruits and earn toys there as well. That is what you can do with .5 more gigs.
Date: 2002-09-18 We just DON'T CARE about Knuckles or Amy the Chao angle of this was a horrible addition, that takes up space. It takes eons to make them half-way powerful, and it mostly makes you not want to take the time, while they hoped it would make people obsessed. Some things are done very right and are fun in Chao Gardens, though. The internet aspect never came close to it's potential, it felt more like promises. Knuckles and Amy have such boring game quests and Tails just shoots in a dry adventure of his own. I don't even care about Shadow or the evil version of the good guys, which comes off as a...gimmick. I only want to play as SONIC. And when you're doing that, it's loads of fun, just don't expect to do that much. Overall, I think the first one was better, though they are both worth it.
Date: 2002-08-21 THIS GAME IS EXTREME THIS IS A GREAT GAME,THE THING I DON'T LIKE IS TAIL,I MEAN SHE BETTER IN HER OWN BODY.THERE ARE TWO NEW CHARECTAR,THAT IS ROUGE THE BAT AND SHADOW THE HEGHOG.SO YO MUST BUY THIS GAME.
Date: 2002-07-28 DA BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED.SONIC ADVENTURE DON'T MATCH IT This is really a have-to-get game!Better than Sonic Adventure, you can be three awesome new characters:Shadow the hedgehog,Rouge the bat,and even Dr.Eggman! The Chao World is even better. There is a cool light world and dark world at chao world. The dot on the chao's head is blue instead of green. And guess what. There's even a cheat how to turn the dot into a flaming dot!!There's even awesome bosses:Hot shot,Big foot,King Boom Boo,Egg Golem,Biolizard,Finalhazard, and the characters come face-to-face with each other!
