Awesome!
None can deny this game! Without any knowledge of Electric Egg Zone, the zones up till that are...
1. Turquoise Hill Zone
2. Gigapolis Zone
3. Sleeping Egg Zone
4. Mecha Green Hill Zone
5. some underwater zone
6. Electric Egg Zone
Something like that. Secret, hidden shortcuts and passages. Sonic can use stuff like Rocket Shoes, Pogo boots, and more.
Pros:
Graphics - These graphics are awesome for an older game! Sega worked hard and got this title done well.
Music - The music is great! I love the music! It rocks!
Cons:
Not from what I see...
Somewhere inbetween:
Enemies - Some enemies are pretty tough. Some are real easy. May vary for some.
That just mentioned a few. I'll recommend this to all Game Gear owners!

this game is awesome I just started playing and it's so cool on a scale of 1-5 it's a 20 the graphics are even better than game boy advance( which I used to have but gave to my little brother, and I'm not dissapointed with the game gear at all.)so this game is mad cool. buy it itll exceed your expectations 10 times.

Pretty goood game (introduced me to SONIC!!!!)
When I went into an old Ames store done gettting clothes (2 years ago) I went to the video games section. I was really looking for a GBA ( which I have now ) I saw a variety of game gear games like sonic 2 and sonic spinball ,and sonic chaos ,and etc. I got Sonic chaos and sonic spinball ( I only got it because I saw that sonic was running on the cover ) Anyway ,sonic chaos let me know that sonic was VERY fast ( supersonic )
and very adventurous. Nowv that I had my Game GEAR FOR 2 YEARS , IT WAS GETTING UNRELIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i use an adaptor and now I have to twist my adaptor wire in a certain direction for it to work! Now I can beat the game with up to 4 emeralds. I MEAN , THE SPECIAL STAGE FOR EMERALD 5 IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! THERE IS A MAZE OF TUBING A THERE'S NOT EVEN A HINT OF WHERE THE EMERALD IS YOU JUST GET TRAPPED IN THE DIRECTIONS UNTIL THE MINUTE IS UP. But this game is pretty good ( my favorie part : getting the special shoes !!!) So go and buy it. IF YOU GOT SONIC ADVANCE OR SA2 ,THAN GIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game is AWSOME
This game rules!!!! You can be sonic or tails.With sonic you can grab Rocket Shoes and Pogo Springs. With tails you can fly. As usual Dr.Robotnik up to his old trix by trying to get the 7 chaos emeralds and you have to stop him. This game has good graphics and sound. Its very fun. Its not hard but its not easy its in between. This was the first game I got for gamegear and I spent hours and hours playing this game even when I beat it with both sonic and tails it is tones of fun even after beating it. If u have a game gear I advise you to bye this game as soon as possible.
