silver is really worth silver
in silver you get to do a lot more things than in the older versons you have more of a challenge. you also get to meet new pokemon.

Pokemon Silver has lots of journies to do. I have a Typloshion on level 71! Typloshion is pretty hard to handle, but it`s powers are unbelieveable!(Like Flame wheel or Flamethrower) I have all the pokemon versions. (Exept for Green) Try to rent Silver version, or just buy it! Remember don`t get a little to carried away, by losing to a pokemon trainer! Try to rent Silver version and you will see how pretty amazing it is!

A great new expansion!!
Pokemon gold and silver are great new expansions to the world of Pokemon, the hit television show, trading card game, and nintendo game! Customers, note to look at Pokemon Crystal as well, since there are more features there (such as the famous female character).
You no longer play Ash, but a new character by your name. You journey through Johto to become a Pokemon master, as usual. You also get to go to another continent, which is basically the same as where Red, Blue, and Yellow took place on.
This makes a great gift, or a great addition to your Game Boy collection, especially if you are a pokemon fan.
Pros:
1) A whole new world
2) New character
3) Bank, Day/Night effects, Time, and Day of the Week effects
4) Pokemon coming out during day/night
5) More advanced than Pokemon Red and Blue.
Cons:
1) Pokemon Crystal is more worth getting than Gold or Silver
2) Not much has changed (graphic wise---except color)Recommended guide: Versus Adventure Guide for Pokemon Gold + Silver

not challenging
I have Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Crystal, and Pokemon Silver and there is not much difference between them. I bought the first two several months ago and I bought Silver a few weeks ago. Can you imagine how disappointed I am? It has the same scenarios as the other two. Would you believe that I am breezing through it? Its really disappointing because I was expecting different things instead of the same scenarios as the other two Pokemon games. :-(
