Do you need it?
The sega saturn has internal memory it will work unless the internal battery runs out...(for those that buy a used system this is why you cant save)
These memory card cartriges were to EXPAND the saturn's memory so that you could save more games, and so that you dont run the risk of losing your games becouse of battery life.
(i have just started my saturn collection and have not had a chance to purchase one of these... i found this information in various sites)
