Great Oldschool console
My cousin just gave me her Nintendo NES, Super Nes and Nintendo 64 for my birthday. She just said she didn`t need them anymore... All I have to say is: They`re great, even though I`ve got the 360, they`re all great!!

Keep the Classics Alive!
The Nintendo Entertainment System is the greatest console on the planet. How could something so simple provide so much entertainment for all ages of people. I remember my grandma playing it, but I have never seen he playing the Xbox or Playstation. One thing about buying games for the system no is you cannot find manuals. Well, for a lot of games there are manuals at [...] We are also looking to expand the site, so check back often. Nintendo forever!

Another warning from another user
Careful, all the "NEW" systems sold here say that they are NOT the original Nintendo spec toploader. Only buy tried and true Nintendo products.
It's true that many people are waiting expectantly to see if Nintendo will ever rerelease their crown glory of their systems again, but don't be fooled into buying an illegal pirate from Asia.
I know that someone else has already posted this before me, but I do want to clear up the fact that there indeed exists a Nintendo-spec toploader NES. However, most that are new that are sold are illegal pirate clones. Nintendo rules. Pirates are bad. Don't buy their junk. Make sure to find ginuine Nintendo products, especially if they claim to be brand new, when they are this old.
If you do buy a Nintendo-spec NES system with a ginuine Nintendo seal of quality, this review serves its purpose. Kudos to Nintendo for making a system so great pirates are still making knock-offs of it!

about the toploader
about that review someone else wrote about the knockoff fake nintendo's, i'm not saying that they don't exist, but there WAS a real top loading nes made by nintendo, i was able to get one new in the box when they where still in stores ~15 years ago (and it had a genuine nintendo logo on the box)
all in all, original or toploader its an amazing system with some of the best games that still have playing value today in a world with the 360 and ps3. the only question as far as an NES's value today is the fact that the wii can emulate it.

I never expirenced it on the system but I have done it on a emulator and now want to get the real thing!
