Date: 2008-01-22 buy in person This is an excellent game, one of the best ever made. That being said, don't buy it online. I bought one because mine wouldn't work on the new system I bought. The new one I bought was busted right out the package... Just hope wii adds it to virtual console or go on gametap or something, these old cartridges aren't all that reliable that you can buy them sight unseen.
Date: 2005-11-15 THE BEST CASTLEVANIA FOR THE NES AND ONE OF THE BEST IN GENERAL This game is simply one of the best castlevania games i played you get help of three different spirits, have to choose different paths avery time you play and the music is the best of the old NES games .
Date: 2002-10-09 Beautiful. Personally, Konami is my favorite group of publishers/developers. I always find myself becoming quite attached to their games, ever since I played Castlevania ][: Simon's Quest and the unbelievably superb Super Castlevania IV. So it's pretty needless to say that I like Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, with its multiple paths and multiple character gameplay (pretty unusual at the time and, obviously, well accepted since then). If you like the other Castlevanias (including Symphony of the Night, even though it's drastically different), I'm sure you'll like this'ne.
Date: 2002-06-29 A Classic One of the greatest games ever to be released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).It is actually a prequel to Castlevania and Castlevania 2. The gameplay has returned to the more traditional Castlevania (removing the RPG gameplay from the second one). However in this game you can choose your path to the castle and you can have another charactor to help you along (you will "bump" into them during your quest). This I consider to be in the top ten catigory as one of the greatest games ever to be released for NES. A true Classic
Date: 2001-09-20 Intensity and several new features This is a platform fighter game that incorporates some from Castlevania I, in that you have a solid quest, and Castlevania II where you have a choice as to the leg of the path you chose. This game has amazing new features, characters and weapons! You start the game as Trevor Belmnot, vampire hunter who's goal as usual is to kill Dracula. On your quest, you meet up with Sypha, who is a magician with powerful and awesome spells. Grant who is a theif and who may stick to walls and ceilings... it is difficult to get him to stick though. Alucard who is Dracula's son, he doesn't offer much other than turning into a bat. Along the quest there are several new and old monsters, bosses and challenges. This game is very challenging, so much so that it does get annoying, and the game has probably the greatest graphics ever for Nintendo!
