The most awesome game I have ever played!
For all you Dreamcast owners out there don't give away your Dreamcast. Just yet not till you buy this game and beat it. It is soooo much fun I loved this game! I tradedin my Dreamcast for a Gamecube (A great system might I add.) But, I've yet to play a game like this for Gamecube, PS2 or X-Box I expect I never will. This game will take you a long time to beat if your a great game player it would take you probably at least a month if you played it non-stop (I am mediocre)It took me almost a year Oh but it was great and I got stuck a couple of times but, never to bad if you just keep playing the game something interesting will happen.

this game is sweet
Shenmue is awsome. the only thing i dont like about it is that some of the video's are long. For example in the first viedo it last for almost 10 min. then yo u go into another video witch is about 5 min. But for those who like to learn about what is going on in the game but i dont like to watch videos i just like to kick some japensse crack. but this game has some asome wether graphics like rian, snow and the nights' look so life like. It is kinda esay if you know what to do. You start out every day with 500 yen. More than plenty for those who like to save up, and that is a very good idea. Those who like the old school arcade games your in luck. There is a arcade in the game so you can play those sweet sweet old school games. There is also these store's that have those little toy dispencers and you can get stickers. There are also just plain stores where you can talk to people and look what they have for sale.

Incredible RPG
This game is comparable to Zelda, Myst, almost amost even Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. These other games may be for other consoles but they are of the same nature in which the player becomes completely involved in the game. Once you start you just can't stop. Other games like Rainbow six, Soldier of Fortune II, Mech Warior Series, Midnight Club II or most other games are not nearly as good as this game. It is not just good. It is ADDICTING. I bought the game one week when i was out of school sick last year and I could not stop playing it even after I got back. It is ridiculously well crafted. You get to have a job drive a forklift, a motorcycle and work on your martial arts all in the same game. It has a fantastic plot and excellent grafics and overal gameplay. You will simply not put down your controller so start doing finger exercise while the game is being shipped to you.

Is Shenmue The Best RPG Ever?
when i played this game i felt like i was in the game, it was great. the graphics on the game were great, all the detail of the game were great, the story of the game pulled me in, and when shenmue two was released i was amazed with the game. they boosted the characters to 1,000 on shenmue two and shenmue three is coming out very soon and with ala the rumors that has been going around the game is going to be great. ryo is back in shenmue still looking for lan di and he travels to the usa and ryo and ren become good friends from what i heard so i'm waiting for shenmue three i heard its going to come out sometime in 04 so get one but don't buy to many i want one too you know!

Forklifting is My Top Priority
I am a black man who stars in this game. I am sensitive and I speak fluent Japanese. I manage the forklift operation day to day on Disc 3 (only). At a certain point, Ryo (of Shenmue) shows up for a job at my plant. He is a good driver of forklifts, but his skills do not surpass enough to qualify for number one forklifter. I have a hunch he will help me with my own brother's disappearance and the Long Jah (aka the secret trade of Mad Angels back by Pier 17). I am going to fire him this week.
