One of the greatest games of all time
Sonic The Hedgehog was good, but it lacked a little in gameplay. Then comes along Sonic 2, adding a move called the "spindash" which completely changed the gameplay, but it also added a little fox dude that everybody came to love, named Tails. To put is simply: this game blew the original Sonic out of the window. This game is a classic, the goals and everything are so simple but the gameplay is just so damn fun and it never gets old. I remember being 6 years old and playing this game everyday, until I finally beat it. It was my favorite game then, and it still remains one of the best games of all time in my opinion. Must have for any Sonic fans.

Bigger, badder and more fun for your buck!
The first Sonic game blew me away when I was a little kid and when Sonic 2 came out I was first in line to get my hands on the new copy. I was not dissapointed by any stretch of the imagination. This game takes what was great about the first one and built on that greatness of that first game and the result is what I consider the best video game of it's time. I have such fond memories of playing this video gaem that I sometimes cry for the day when this game is back in my house to play again as it's so wonderful and fun to play. The music on this one is another winning video game soundtrack and I can easily remember the music on some of the various video game levels. My favorite of the music was the "Casino Night" zone levels with it's funky and electric groove beats and colorful melody. That level remains my favorite of the various levels on ALL of the sonic games. I espeically like how they used Pinball flippers to where you can be launched into a slot machine, where you can get bonus prizes like rings, an extra life or on the negative end, you can lose 100 rings if you get three Robotnik symbols from the slot machine. This game does the job of continuing the greatness of the first one and building on it. A great gaem that is sorely missed these days where video games have declined into gross gorefests.

It's Chaos!
This game is awesome! Dr. Robotnik's Death Egg has crashed and can not currently be repaired by himself. Sonic and his new pal Miles "Tails" Prower must keep the evil doctor from discovering the power of the Chaos Emeralds, the only things that can repair his ship. Sonic has many new moves, and Tails is good, too. You can also play as both Sonic and Tails for double the power! Additionally, you can insert this game into the extra game slot on the "Sonic and Knuckles" lock-on game cartridge to play with Knuckles, the powerful echidna. Buy this game, whatever you do.

Good Game I love Sonic The Hedgehog 2
I have a copy of this game that I bought in 1992 when I bought a Sega Genesis. Even though Sonic Hedgehog 3 is has better graphics. This is still a great game. I suggest it to anyone who likes a good game.
