Sonic The Hedgehog: Pocket Adventure Review (continued)

Date: 1999-12-20 Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure I think that this is just like the genises only with fancy controls. The graphics are pretty much the same but the game is better. I recommend this game to the kind of people that don't get sick when they play a fast paced game like this one.
Date: 1999-12-20 THE Reason to Buy Neo Geo Pocket Color I spent a whole week just deciding whether to get the neo geo pocket color or not. I fianlly bit the bullet and bought it with sonic adventure. I can easily say it's the best money I have ever spent. Sonic the game consists of six zones with 2 acts per zone. Must of the zones are ones that appeared in Sonic 2 for the Sega Genesis. The graphics are amazing. The colors and speed of the game almost match the sonic games of the Genesis. The speed sonic is knowen for is present. I guarantee you will be amazed and baffeled at how they managed to retain sonics speed on a portable system, and with absolutely no slow down what so ever. There is also a pointless but addictive part of the game where you find puzzle pieces and can later build the puzzle. Building the puzzle gives you nothing but it is fun to find the pieces. Also for replay there is a trail room where you can race in any level you have beaten, earning ranks and trying to beat your best time. The only problem with the game is thst it is on the easy side. If you have a neo geo pocket color and don't have this game go get it now! If you don't have the neo geo pocket color go and but it and sonic now!
Date: 1999-12-15 Great alternative to GameBoy You are not gonna believe the display on this thing. Great games, nice handeling and smooth graphics>
Date: 1999-12-14 GO BUY THIS GAME... NOW! A perfect game. Don't expect a whole lot new if you have played this on the Genisis. The thing is, that is what is so great. Nothing is lost from the console version. The frame rate is FAST. The colors are sharp and images well defined. It's hard to believe they can pack a system as powerful as a Genisis or SNES into a package this small. If you are thinking about buying the NEO GEO Pocket, this game alone can justify it. Buy the System, buy the game. By the way, don't shed too many tears when your Game Boy starts collecting dust in the corner. It had its day in the sun too. HAVE FUN!
Date: 1999-12-13 Sonic The Hedgehog Pocket (Neo Geo Pocket) Move over Gameboy, the Neo Geo Pocket is here. The NGP is a great system with games like Pocket Tennis, Metal Slug and the SNK fighters. It just got better with the new Sonic game out. Sonic plays just like it's Genesis counterparts. It has geat graphics-sharp and crisp, great gameplay and good sound. Any one who enjoyed Sonic on the Sega consoles will enjoy this.It has the classic one player mode, as well as the ability to replay any of the levels you have completed. It also has a puzzle mode where you collect puzzle pieces during the regular game which can be put together to form a complete puzzle. Finally it has a cool two player mode with the link up to see who can finish a level first. All in all a must have game for any NGP owner and definately a reason to buy the system if you haven't already. Great job Sega and SNK.
