Date: 2000-01-04 fun in Annapolis, MD First game I purchased and it did not disappoint. Lived up to the old Genesis game and more. Love playing it, now if I could only get all the darn chaos emeralds..... Excellent choice to while away your spare time - great while at the laundromat!
Date: 1999-12-30 System Seller Ten times better than Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Sonic is finally back on a handheld and one that doesn't require 6 batteries for about 3 hours of gameplay. If you haven't yet discovered the true king of handhelds, the NGPC, do so with a copy of Sonic now! If you do have this Game boy beater, pick one of these up along with Dark Arms right away. These two games make the whole system worth it.
Date: 1999-12-26 Amazing! Almost everything you could ask for in a sonic game is here! Forget the old boring 1-track game gear(Genesis) sonic days, and say hello to the endless things you can do in this game. There's a time trial option, puzzle building, great multiplayer support and more. The game literally lasts forever, I have had the game since its release and am still playing it regularly. After beating it the coolness lives on in the time trail mode in the utter pursuit of the great PLATINUM time. I recommend purchasing this game no matter what type of games you are into. First person action shooter fans will even like this classic!
Date: 1999-12-25 Sonic wins again! This is a fantastic game on the NeoGeo. I am simply in love with this little critter. I can play a level over and over again and never get tired of maneuvering this lightening quick hedgehog. What fun!
Date: 1999-12-21 Simply Stunning The NeoGeo may not have the vast back catalogue, but on the strength of titles such as this Sonic game you'd be hard pressed to ignore the possibility that the Gameboy finally has competition.Put simply, Sonic - Pocket Adventures is a look back at the old gameplay of the 16-bits where your goal was to gather points and beat levels and not a lot else. A must buy.
