Date: 2002-11-18 A dream come true for my kids Sonic is my kids' favorite character, they love all of his older games, and the Sonic Adventure series (1 & 2) are the best sonic games of all time. In fact, they wanted a Dreamcast just to play these games!Sonic Adventure is in my opinion one of the five best games for the Dreamcast, and I dare to say, one of the best games I have seen in my life. It's a very rich game that is not only a fast-paced action game but also tells an entertaining story and let the player interact with other characters. The music is another plus, in fact Sonic games are known for their quality in this aspect. I highly recommend Sonic Adventure to all Sonic fans and also to those who doesn't know Sonic yet.

Date: 2002-10-27 The first Sonic game on Dreamcast is AWESOME 9/99/99. The day the Sega Dreamcast was launched with a few dozen titles available at launch. One of them was Sonic Adventure. I have played every Genesis Sonic game for hours and hours and have been a huge fan of Sonic ever since. I was very excited when I got this game with my Dreamcast. I started to play with Sonic. The game was awesome. Then I realized you could play with five other characters. Tails, Knuckles, Big, the robot, and Amy. Each character has 3 or so levels for each of them and are also very different for each character. Each character is very fun to play as especially Sonic, Knuckles and Tails. Surprisingly Big and the robot are very fun to play with. But Sega should never have created such a dumb character as Amy. She is very annoying, hard to play with and is very hard to control as well. This game has a few flaws though, like falling through the floor for no reason at all. Also, the camera angles are not the way you want them to be very often and this game is too easy on all levels for almost all of the characters. Sonic Adventure is also kind of short. Even with these few flaws, Sonic Adventure is a great game, that will keep you playing for hours on end having a ton of fun. If you're a real Sonic fan do yourself a favor and go buy this game and Sonic Adventure 2 right now!
Date: 2002-06-30 Fun and challenging! Sonic Adventure is fun but the character expressions could use some work. When the characters scream or yell their mouth opens but then they just stand there. If you beat a level then Sonic says something stupid like'I'll play with you some other time!'or'Yes' in a nerdy voice.I liked the movie thing at the begining(or whatever you call those.),but my friends laughed at it at the two stupid parts. Its a huge action/adventure game, and every level has a sercet or whats-ama-call-it movie thing. It has pretty good graphics but inside windows are blurry. If you've played Sonic 3D, the soundtrack on level two "Windy Valley"is familiar once you've gotten out of the tornano. The controls are simple. The A button is jump and move around is the control toggle, and B is pick up or roll.I recomend this game but if you're friends are tough and only play T and M games DON'T SHOW IT TO THEM!
