Date: 2000-06-12 SEGA VMU I personally love the VMU, the only drawback is the fact that it requires 2 batteries. I wish Sega would also release a plain Memory Card so we can just use the VMU for the games, and not as a full time Memory card
Date: 2000-06-05 Wow, Something this small can do wonders! Wow, ok this little terror is an awsome periferal to get for your dc. Once you open it from its package, and pull out the tab that keeps it turned off (wich i suggest you keep) you will be amazed. It asks for year, date, time, and then BAM put it in your controller and hook up an awsome game like sonic and your in buisness. It also has amazing features! You can take it with you on roadtrips and it really does keep you occupied... Only one slite downside... the batteries. They last only a little amount of time but it out lives most other battery opperated Periferals. so if i sum it all up BUY IT AND HAVE FUN!
Date: 2000-06-03 Molto bene! (Whoops. I thought this was Nintendo's.) GOOD! Well, it's good! I just need to set up my Dreamcast for the 'net, and I'm in gaming Heaven! The VMU is cool, too. 128 blocks for downloadable mini-games, and 200 blocks in all! You can see secret info and animations on the screen! A must for any Sega fan! However, I gave it 4 stars because saving, playing mini-games, and using the twin-prong-connector-thingies, really drain the battery! I hear using it only for the clock lets you use it for a l-o-o-o-o-ng time. Still, a must-have!
Date: 2000-04-28 good idea! Why didn't any other gaming company think of this? It is the most useful peripheral for the Dreamcast, and it is probably the most unique way to store game saves. Also the mini-games are cool. The only bad thing about this product is the price and short battery life.
Date: 2000-04-27 Excellent but needs a little work... The reviewers have already stated that the VMU's battery power is vary limited, which is true. One of the best ways to save power is to stop playing games on it. Why would you play VMU game while you have a Dreamcast sitting right in front of you? The coolest thing about the VMU is the LCD screen being a big plus when playing sports and other video games. Maybe thay didn't think of it yet but I'm hoping in the near future the VMU's LCD screen will light up so you can read information while your playing in a dark room. that would be perfect...
