Dreamcast for kids
My husband had the Dreamcast many years ago and we sold it once the PS2 and XBox came out, but found that it was a mistake. Yes it is hard to find the games for it and Sega no longer sells them. My child who is 9 now wanted one and it is nice to see there are still factory sealed ones out there with the games if you look hard enough. It may be old, but it is great for kids. My child was not to fond of the Wii from Nintendo that is forsure.......

It is About the Games
The Dreamcast system is a solid reliable capable game system, but lacks good games. Most games seem to be ported ps1 games with little or no graphic improvement. A few games (Headhunter, Sega 2k series sports, Shenmue, and Draconus) are beautiful graphically and close to, or even slightly better than the ps2 level. However, most games are terrible and a game system is only as good as the games it plays.

A great system that should have stayed on the market
The dreamcast was without a doubt a great console. But, like all great things (such as the nintendo 64) It died out. I really think that they should have made a lot more games for it, but i was already satisfied with the games that were out. Any body who likes resident evil would have to agree that Resident Evil 2 and Code veronica were great games. Powerstone was pretty fun to, along with Sonic's Adventure. I would recommend this system to anyone that doesn't mind playing older games.

The Dreamcast is AMAZING
I got the Dreamcast for Christmas and that is what I played every day for a long time. The controllers are very cool shaped. The VMU's are the perfect size. The console is not to big. The other systems I have are Gamecube,DS and Gameboy Advanced SP. I get so bored of them. But heres one problem I don't have phone line at my house and I don't know where to get a Broadband Adapter.

Perfection has it's price!
Well well well, the wonderful and last Sega Dreamcast. I start like this, and it feels good to say it. Now the new generation of consoles is released and truly ps2, xbox and gamecube are fading slowly. But what seems a little strange to me is that the dreamcast is gaining support. How strange! I have recently done a poll study of the consoles life,(Sega dreamcast)span and alot of them are being dug out of the grave. Correct me if i'm wrong? unless they are turning into zombies. Bottom line is this, alot of people are purchasing dreamcasts who only owned a ps2 or xbox. Of course there are some ex dreamcast owners who want to re-unite with their long lost love. And yes I am part of the hype.
