Best Game Ever
Back when I really didn't play games so often I came across a game like no other. This game was Pokemon. I found out about it when my uncle was sent a video that tells you the basic info about Pokemon. He obviously didn't want it so he gave it to me. I popped the video into the VCR and I was hooked. Never before had I seen anything like it. I wanted it all: the tv show, the video games, the plush toys. I needed to have it. And boy when I got this game I hardly put my gameboy down. I played this game all day and all night. This game is long enough and tough enough to keep even the most experienced RPG gamers occupied for a several hours. Put simply, this is the best game ever. It was the first game that had me playing it for more than an hour straight. No other game had done that before. Sure, I've played Mario and Zelda for a while but not even close to the amount of time I spent on Pokemon. If you haven't bought this game yet then I suggest you do because you cannot call yourself a real gamer if you have never played a Pokemon game.

Great game! BUT IT DELETES!
This is a geat game! 150 Pokemon to catch. Don't get attached though because it deletes. I had captured (and traded) all 150 pokemon, but it DELETED!!!!!!! I bought another one from a video game store. It has deleted as well, though I had not made it as far. I give this great game 5 stars. I loved it while it lasted.

its awesome
This game is awesome, its got good attacks and all and it has challenges but not enough to make you wanna stomp on your GB. Its an excellent game if you like RPGs. or if you like stuff like digimon. the graphics are about pretty good for the GB original games. Buy it!

Good, but it's not anything like Gold and Ruby!
This is an OK Pokemon RPG. Even though I am not into Pokemon the games still catch the mind's eye. The graphics outside of battle are pretty clear and when played on Game Boy Color or Advance, they are all shades of blue, as it was named. Inside battle, the graphics pretty much stink. The Pokemon look kindda funny but the trainers look clear and nicely animated. The gameplay is simple as well as figuring out where to go. This is a decent game for 1998 and is near perfect. I think that for a regular Game Boy game this is pretty good. At least you get a clear bird's eye view when journeying. (Like Gold, there are many secrets to be found!)
